Love this bag! Still!

Amazon asking me to review again! The Mint colored bag is still my daily commuter bag. Still the best backpack that holds my laptop and accessories (like the power cord and mouse) and lunch containers and first aid and other supplies kit plus an extra hat and gloves and spare socks, power bank, 24oz water cup, coffee cup or soda, any other incidentals that might be needed! (I was a Girl Scout, we like to be prepared.) It's truly a versatile and sturdy bag. Would have been a great diaper bag when my kids were young. I think the next one will be a canvas one in a red or orange (no idea what's available, I'm just day-dreaming). Update with pics 😊 Dec 29, 2019- At least a year of using this bag every day has elicited some wear but it has held up amazingly well! There is an itty-bitty peel spot on the front, probably from me leaning up against things on the train while commuting. The straps have started to come apart, HOWEVER, (see pics) they are still structurally sound as there is a nylon interior strap that is firmly attached. I have used the bag as a daily commuter to haul my work laptop around in rain and sun (I stay home if it snows). I took it on a 2 week vacation and used it as my primary carry-on. I get compliments on it all the time! Water does not penetrate from the outside but if you spill your water cup in the side pocket the water will seep into the main compartment (oops). This didn't damage anything and was my fault for not having a no-spill cup. I have now purchased and received the mint green bag. It appears to be constructed exactly the same. The nylon reinforcement strapping is a slightly different color which adds some interest. I can tell it will need wiping down more often as it will show the dirt easier! I'm very happy with the color, makes me feel like I'm carrying a little bit of spring around with me. 💚 Original review: Exactly what I was looking for. I needed something to hold my laptop, my lunch and my purse. I was tired of being the bag lady during my commute on public transportation. Lunch containers are the gladware-type that are approx 5" on a side. They fit great in the bottom of the bag with my purse on top. Laptop is heavy but the bag is not. Very durable so far. Straps and back are padded. Cup holders on both sides are large enough for my 24oz cup. The top opens wide for full access to the interior. Leather-like texture is pleasant and wipes clean. It could use a couple more interior pockets but it's not the end of the world without them since I still take my purse inside the backpack. Will probably order in more colors.

Best teacher bag ever.

I looked at teacher bag options FOREVER and finally decided on this one for several reasons, all of which I still completely agree with after having this bag for half a school year! #1, it’s super cute. I don’t know why, but most teacher bags as a general rule are ugly. Like, do manufactures think all teachers are a thousand years old and we all love apples on everything? This option was so much more appealing than most. #2, I love the way the top opens up so wide. Most bags I’ve tried don’t open up wide enough to cram a week’s worth of papers to be graded in it without ruining the stacks. The way this bag is constructed allows you to open it just as wide as the bottom of the bag, which is so convenient for all my teacher junk! #3, the pockets are perfect. I can fit regular sized disposable water bottles in the side pockets, even with stuff in the backpack. The front is perfect for pens and highlighters and other random things. The two small interior pockets are great for charger cords and ear buds, etc. and the laptop sleeve fits my MacBook Air and my iPad Pro perfectly! It’s got elastic on the sides of the laptop sleeve, which allow it to open up wider than a typical bag’s laptop sleeve would. The main portion of the bag has the perfect amount of space in it for my jacket or my lunch or really whatever I end up needing to toss in at the last minute, and it’ll still zip shut, even when it’s filled to the brim. I haven’t used the side zipper to access the main pocket, but it’s still a cool feature. #4, the leather has held up surprisingly well so far! I was concerned that it may start to flake because you never know what the quality of “leather” is on bags like these, but so far no scratches, scrapes, or flakes, and I haven’t exactly been easy on it in the last six months! Overall, love this bag, would recommend to anyone, will definitely buy another one when/if this one eventually wears out.

First Impressions:

The bag JUST arrived on my doorstep a few minutes ago and my first impression is... it's PERFECT. My MacBook Air (15" fits great (a larger laptop would be tight and too tall for it to zip up easily), it's very nice looking for not being real leather, the interior fabric is soft and well sewn, and it's going to work perfectly for my personal item on a long international flight. It has a nice luggage strap and the anti-theft hidden pocket for passport and credit cards which you can access while wearing it on your back. Several previous reviewers stated that the luggage strap and passport pocket were missing on their backpacks. So either they got a flawed bag, or the manufacturer put those features back on after receiving complaints. Love all the pockets and it's very roomy. It has comfortable padded straps when in backpack mode and the two handles on the top make it work well as a briefcase or large tote. I'm sure with proper care this bag will last, but I will pop back on here if I start to see excessive wear and tear (not explained by my negligence) and share an update. Price seems quite appropriate. I got the brown one. Great bag!

The backpack that has it all!

I have purchased a couple of backpacks in search of the right one, and I was continually disappointed. I searched high and low for this backpack and I am very pleased with it. Here is why: -Water bottle pockets: The two pockets will fit a hydro flask size water bottle (32 oz) That’s right, it will!! Do you know how hard it is to find that? I do! Trust me it’s rare. -Great size: Not to big and bulky but a great size to fit everything I need for work. -Pockets: The perfect amount of pockets to keep your bag organized, but not too many where you forget where you put something. It has a laptop compartment to. -Cushioned backpack straps: Very comfortable and helps distribute the weight. -Classy and professional: This is the perfect backpack for work! Great balance of professional and stylish. If these qualifications are a must for you too, the search is over. You have found your backpack.
