Versatile! Great price point! Cute!!
So many lovely qualities to this blanket!! I bought it for its portability; I love that it comes with a cute little bag. However there are so many more qualities I love more than the portability now that I own it! The shape allows for more flexibility in positioning than traditional shape, and is engaging since it’s different. I work in mental health therapy, and I use this in my office with clients—since it’s so light, I don’t have to worry about weight as blankets that are more designed for an occupational therapy use. My clients love that it’s leaf-shaped and soft. This makes it engaging for those who might feel embarrassed about using a full-sized blanket in public. The small size I can tell is also calming for my clients with trauma who like the little comfort but don’t want to feel “stuck” under a larger blanket that would be hard to “escape” from if something bad happened. Almost all of my clients use it now and I’m so happy! I also really like to use it on my shoulders while writing notes in between sessions to relieve tension after engaging with emotionally charged conversations. I would encourage anyone to just make the snap purchase; you’ll just find out it has become a life staple and it’s so affordable to add into daily life!

This is a beautiful little weighted blanket that comes in its own carrier. Makes a great gift! In fact, I purchased the larger 5 lb for my Autistic self and the 3 lb for my ADHD Teen for their birthday, who did not think they would like it, and they love theirs as well. In fact, despite having insomnia, they fell asleep with it pretty quickly. It makes a nice lap pad at 2 x 3 ft approx, and the larger one makes a nice throw for your lap, legs, chest and fits nicely across a recliner chair. Is perfect for me because I find comfort from warm hugs but not the usual heavy weighted blankets where I feel claustrophobic and trapped. I have respiratory disease, panic attacks and severe muscle cramps and I don't want anything smothering me, so these are just the perfect weight and size to give me the kind of gentle pressure I need without being oppressive. Its a throw size I can just fling off if I need to in a second. And its so soft! The weight is nicely and evenly distributed with glass beads. Durable and well-made, though not as thick as I expected it would be. Would be convenient for travel. I love it!!

great small dense lap blanket
I got the 5 lbs 23" x 29 leaf blanket. I chose this one bc it had the highest weight per square inch, and I mostly wanted it for sensory / calming, more than as a blanket. It is very small, but I like it that way. Mostly covers just my thighs. I like sitting on my bed with my legs straight and it laid lengthwise on top - it extends from below my knee, up to on my lower belly. Great for weight. Warm where it does cover. The small size also makes it really easy to maneuver. In particular to pull over me while I'm already lying in bed, and to throw off me in the groggy middle of the night when I'm done with it. Very nice fabric, rich dark green, soft. Well made. Very pretty. I'm considering also getting the larger one to use more like a blanket.

This is the best blanket! If you like the weight in one area this is perfect. The blankets spread the weight out too much and do not provide good weight distribution. This is the perfect size for upper body or lower body. I use it on my upper body as I like more weight there. It does get warm in the summer months but I turn the air down so I can still use it. It’s is very durable as my cat loves to attack it. I have not tried washing it yet. It’s is a great value and really cannot sleep without it. I have terrible problems sleeping and this helps so much! I honestly thought I would feel trapped but this was such a game changer for me!!
