The medium roast hits a good balance and is smooth without being weak, flavorful without being bitter or overwhelming first thing in the morning. The nutty caramel notes are there without being artificial or overpowering, it just tastes like a genuinely good cup of coffee. Consistency is what keeps me on automatic order -- every bag is the same quality, no surprises. At this point it's less a purchase and more just a staple. If you're looking for a reliable everyday coffee this is it.

I love my occasional Kauai coffee in a french press. Normally I bring it back from Hawaii or even Vancouver. When I ran out this summer without being able to go anywhere, I was so glad to find this in Germany. The coffee I received was 100% the same that I would get in my Vancouver gourmet supermarket.

Delicious coffee, just as described. I used it to make cold brew since I’m done paying ridiculous prices for iced coffee at DD that’s more than half ice cubes! The flavor is terrific; I’ll be ordering more.
