Kaweco and Lamy seem the finest in quality control
This Kaweco fountain pen shares an almost identical looking nib with Moleskine-Kaweco, and comparably superlative writing quality. Go for any Kaweco gold (colored) nib (I use medium) and you can't go wrong. I don't know the size of the company, and I know nothing about it, but their products seem to have much more consistent quality than Pelikan, Pilot and even Montblanc (which you must check ink flow before purchase). Caran d'ache comes close, but it does not have quite the same smoothness of Kaweco's gold colored nibs. Lamy seems the only one suprassing or rivaling in quality, but if you get bored, try this Kaweco.

Qualitatif et agréable à la main
J’ai reçu ce beau stylo il y a 2 jours et ai écrit 2 pages jusqu’à présent. Bien sûr qu’il est beau, ça se voit déjà. Il est très agréable pour la prise en main. Le capuchon se place bien au bout. Je lui ai mis une cartouche Herbin Orange Indien et l’encre coule très bien. La plume est très lisse sur la page, que ça soit papier type Rhoda/Clairefontaine ou papier plus épais. J’en suis très contente.

Anything made by Kaweco is amazing. I finally found the perfect pen to write with. I have been looking for a good fountain pen, one that works and looks as if it was a million bucks. When I'm in meetings or with customers, I always get good comments about the pen.
