This little espresso machine works perfect for people that want to make 4-shot lattes at home. I use it almost daily and have been very happy with the quality of espresso it produces. I use my favorite pre-ground espresso coffee such as Lavazza, Cafe' Richesse, Starbucks, and FDC Skull-Crushing. They all work great! To ensure I don't have an issue with the different size grounds (can vary - more coarse, more powdery), I always use an espresso whisk before the tamper. Never an issue! I am not able to comment so much on the frother. I prefer to heat my almond milk in the microwave and use a hand-held frother (latte sin?) If you take the time to put more water in the machine after making your expresso, it does work. Overall, if you want a great little machine that's easy to use for a great price and it's important to make 4 shots at once, this is an excellent option.
