The wood has a nice finish, the engraved top is lovely, the hardware seems solid, it opens smoothly and there is plenty of room inside for storing your precious memory keepsakes. I am using it for a memory box for beloved pets who have passed, I was able to easily fit four paw print castings, three collars, and a small box of photos with plenty of room left for future items to be added.
