Great buy, daughter uses it every day
We got this for my daughter for her second birthday. She is coming on her third in a couple of months and she still uses it all the time. The only wear and tear is we've had is that the knobs for the stove appear to get stuck in the clicking sound and it will go on for a long time uh unless you find out which knob it was and turn it back. This is probably due to my kid spinning them like there's no tomorrow for many months. Other than that, the kitchen still is like new. That said, we do not have a terribly destructive child. We are pretty strict with her so she learns to be nice to her toys. I cannot attest to how long this would last a kid who tries to climb it or pulls on the doors or throws things at it. My kid is also huge for her age, probably a year ahead in growth. It makes it easier for her to play with everything. She loves to organize old plastic juice or milk bottles filled with rice or beans in all the cupboards. This has been a great buy for us. It took a couple of hours for my husband to put it together and he is a read directions and do it right kind of guy. I took her out for well over an hour and it wasn't quite finished when we got back. This may be easier with two people. It is pretty sturdy sitting there but I don't know how well it will survive our next move. It is not the kind of thing you disassemble once it's put together.

My Grandson Loves It!
This was a part of his birthday gift (actually was supposed to be for Christmas but his GMa just couldn't wait). 😁 I kid you not, they are up there cooking on it right now...Been cooking all day. 😁 My grandson loves it. And I have to say that I like it because it wasn't difficult to assemble. I just followed the instructions and there she was. Once finished (a couple of hours or so), I found it to be sturdy enough for a very active little 3yr. old. He can be rough, so I'm glad it seems pretty sturdy as well. All-in-all, it looks like a winner here. Also, it's really nice to look at, and as per my grandson, just awesome to play with again, and again, and again. I even put a personal touch to it by adding a couple of stick-on lights in the fridge and oven, easy as pie. So, when you open the doors, the lights come on and go off in about minute. Nice added touch, cheap, and easy to do. And it was nice catching this set at a great reduced price here, too. 😁👍🏽

Great looking kitchen set. Easy to assemble, except for when one of the screws broke into a piece. Ordered the piece on Kidkraft website and was sent a replacement quickly and free of charge. Love the lights and sounds. The doors have to be pushed in firmly to close, so that might be an issue for younger ones. But my 4 year old son is getting a hang of it. The ice dispenser is cool. The set fits most Melissa and Doug items, except the white plates don’t fit in the microwave. May have to get smaller plates. The kitchen set is a little smaller than the original but I love all the features. UPDATE: 3 years later, and this kitchen set is still holding strong. I now have a two year old daughter and she absolutely loves it. She’s a bit more rough when playing compared to my son, but the set is super sturdy. The lights and sounds still work too! Very happy with my purchase.

Great Play Kitchen
The kiddies haven't played with it yet since it's a Christmas gift so I can't speak on longterm wear but let's be honest here, nothing lasts with 2 toddlers. Anyway, I really like the look of this kitchen and the sound and light features are really cool. It was fairly easy to assemble but I gravely miscalculated the amount of time needed to assemble so I was up until 1am putting this thing together, again it's easy to assemble but there are MANY pieces so it does take some time to put it all together. Instructions are easy to read and the pieces were labeled very well. One of the cabinets takes a tiny bit of lifting to close it but nothing I don't think my kids can't do. I'm excited for them to see this.
