This Kingsyard platform feeder is everything I was hoping for. The composite material feels extremely solid and well-made—no flimsy plastic here—and it’s held up perfectly through the snow, wind and rain. I love that it’s made from recycled material and still looks sleek and clean in the yard. The 3.5 lb capacity is fantastic. I can load it up with mealworms and seed and not worry about refilling constantly. It’s roomy enough for multiple birds at once, and I’ve already seen a nice variety stopping by. The open tray design also makes it easy for larger birds to perch comfortably. Cleaning is simple (a huge plus), and the weatherproof design really does what it promises—no warping or cracking so far. The PERFECT Bird Feeder! Buy it!
First words when I pulled it out of the box: “oh wow, it’s beautiful!” This was the 4th bird feeder I ordered from Amazon in less than a week! The other 3 are going back. One was too small (not sure how one of the reviews stated it was big enough for squirrels. I’m pretty sure the reviewer mistook a mouse for a squirrel. The other was too deep and the third one was too shallow, so when big birds flew off of it, they sent seeds and nuts flying everywhere. This one however, PERFECT!!! I love it and the birds took to it right away! They love it too! Thank you for such a beautiful product! It’s so easy to clean too! I also love that instead of a chain, it has like a plastic wire to hang it from. This is much safer for birds since I read, birds can get their feet stuck in chains. This one is PERFECT!

This feeder is made of very high=quality materials and solidly built. I've been filling it with sunflower and/or safflower seeds for several months now and it still looks brand new. I wash it once a week to prevent spread of bird flu. I love that the bottom platform allows for drainage, so the seeds stay fresh longer. It's heavy and stable enough that moderate winds don't disturb it. The birds and I are very happy with this feeder!

I waited to review this for several months to see how it would hold up to a New Brunswick winter and wow.. it’s still in immaculate condition! I purchased it in October 2025 and it’s now April 2026.
