Even though this blanket is technically made for kids, I find it the perfect size and weight to be comfortable for napping/sleeping (I'm an adult woman). I used to have a 20 lb blanket but it felt much too heavy and I ended up rarely using it. I got the 3 lb blanket; it's super cozy, covers my body (not fully, but I don't need any weight on my legs). I love the pink colour and the soft material. It's machine washable too. I'd recommend this product for adults who just want a slight bit of weight for helping feel comforted and grounded for a good rest.

The cool thing about a weighted blanket is that it significantly increases your dreams. Supposedly it raises your melatonin level causing the more intense dreams. Not nightmares, just more memorable. Also I tend to stay in bed all night now. I still arouse but quickly go back to sleep. It is warmer than the blanket I had on the bed but with the A/C at 72 it’s okay. I am not sure what it will be like this summer. I may get a lighter weight cooling version just because I love the weighted aspect so much.
