Gorgeous knife block with incredible knives
I read through plenty of reviews and looked at a bunch of different knife sets. I watched review videos and other videos to learn about knife blocks as I have wanted one for quite some time. This block and set is gorgeous. It looks INCREDIBLE on my kitchen counter and the knives are sharp. Very sharp. I easily sliced through several sheets of paper with a couple of different included knives. It chopped up some garlic, onion, and broccoli with ease. I used the included shears to cut things my normal scissors couldn't even touch with ease. The knives look and feel like I'm working with top of the line equipment. They are balanced and feel great in the hand. I've only had them for a couple of weeks but have followed the advice I've seen online to immediately hand wash and/or wipe them with a towel and they have kept their shine and sharpness perfectly without any rust spots. I got these on sale for Black Friday so I got an incredible deal but even if you can't get these for cheaper they are exceptional for the cost.

I almost want to take away a star for all of the times I've cut myself 🤣 these things are so sharp! Heed all warnings from every review stating it! I won't let my 12 y/o use them due to concern for his finger safety but these knives are great! Super sharp right out of the box and honestly put my old Ninja never dulls to absolute shame. I purchased these because the thin blades of the Ninja were ridiculously dull and pieces started snapping off of the blade (could have put my eye out!) and my only regret is not buying safety gloves. My elder son was slicing an avocado and I went running in what felt like slow mo screaming no because he was cupping it in has hand and anyone of these knives could slice right through the skin and the fruit in one swipe. Other than that, they feel great in hand, sturdy, and hopefully they kept up the good work.

Great knife set!
These are the sharpest knives I have ever had, although I've never spent "big" money on knives. These cut through anything! I almost cut myself just as others have warned. No more holding fruit and vegies in my hand to cut. I wash them by hand, dry right away and put them away. I haven't tried the sharpener yet. Anyone have comments on the sharpener? Do you run the knife through one way only? How many times?
