17 oz. insulated stainless steel easy-zip tumbler - keeps my cold drinks cold!
I love the design of this insulated stainless steel mug (brand: LAOION) because I can drink from it immediately with a quick button push. I used to bring my 18 oz insulated water bottle with a twist cap to fast food restaurants. The twist to unlock is a bit inconvenient. This mug is just 1 oz smaller than my water bottle. From now on, I will use it instead at fast food joints. It is leakproof and 2" shorter (than my water bottle), so it can stay in my purse without cramping everything else in it. As it will keep my drinks cold for longer and is easier to use, it will also be my summer car tumbler to keep me hydrated. I filled it up with half water and half ice cubes last night. After finishing the water, some ice remained solid in it after 10 hours (as pictured). I am very pleased with the insulation. However, due to the lack of hand strength, I need to add an assistive silicone handle to it. It makes it easier and more comfortable to grip. It also will reduce the likelihood of dropping it accidentally as the handle will rest on my palm back. I also appreciate the moderate beverage flow. I can be sure no beverage will come gushing out at me. Sipping is fine without gulps. I love every thing about this mug, the color, the design, the insulation and the tactile feel. But I wish drinking with a straw would be an option in future renditions. This would be tremendously useful in the car when one is driving. Despite this, the new insulated mug has become my most beloved tumbler on-the-go.
