I've long wanted a briefcase style Backgammon set but have been reluctant to spend too much for one. I saw this one and decided that I could afford the price. The set arrived packed in a good quality box. I unpacked and inspected the set and am not disappointed. The hinges and latches could have been more robust but the game case opens properly and sits flat. The game pieces are thinner than I expected but will work well. The die have rounded corners, large pips and roll nicely. The overall construction, assembly, and game board stitching appear to be good. The material quality seems to be good. The manufacturer included one extra game piece and one extra die of each color - a nice bonus. Overall this seems to be an excellent value for the price.

Great size and easily portable!
Well made, beautifully crafted and easy to transport game. My hubs and I have been taking our game with us to the coffehouse and it transports easily as the board closes like a small briefcase with easy to use clasps. It unfolds and is easily set up for hours of fun and play. I will say that if you haven't played backgammon before to be careful as it is very addicting.
