Affordable Wearable TV Speaker That Delivers Where It Counts at a Third of the Name Brand Price
At roughly a third of the cost of the leading name brand wearable neck speaker this delivers enough of the core experience to make it a compelling value proposition, particularly for its intended use cases. Setup is genuinely plug and play with no pairing, syncing, or technical knowledge required. Connect to your TV via HDMI, optical, or AUX and it works immediately, which is an important accessibility feature for elderly users or anyone who does not want to deal with wireless connectivity setup. The primary use cases are where this shines. For late night TV watching without disturbing others in the house the neckband format brings audio directly to ear level at whatever volume you need without any sound escaping into the room. For hard of hearing users specifically that proximity to the ears combined with the three EQ modes to tune the sound profile makes a meaningful difference in speech intelligibility compared to distant TV speakers. Sound quality is decent for dialogue and vocals with good high frequency clarity, but bass is essentially absent. For news, talk shows, and drama this is a non issue. For action movies or music content the lack of low end is noticeable. Battery life is a genuine strength and holds up well through extended viewing sessions without needing frequent recharging. The one feature omission worth noting is Bluetooth connectivity. The plug and play wired transmitter works well for TV use but adding Bluetooth would have extended the usefulness to phones and tablets for video streaming and music, which competitors at higher price points offer. Wear comfort is acceptable for extended sessions though the neckband presence is noticeable during use. A practical and well priced wearable speaker that serves its core purpose effectively.

**Title:**
I ordered "LARKSOUND Wearable TV Speaker for Elderly, Voice Enhancement Neckband, No Bluetooth Needed, Plug & Play Transmitter Base, 3 EQ Modes, HDMI/Optical/AUX, Easy Setup Gift for Parents" and it has made a noticeable difference for my mom. She is completely deaf in one ear and has never liked headphones or earbuds. This neckband allows her to hear the TV clearly without covering her ears, and even though some sound from one side travels to the other, it works very well for her situation. The neckband is fairly light—not as small as earbuds, but much more portable and comfortable than a full headset with earphones. In fact, it is compact enough that you could actually pack it and take it on a trip if you wanted. Setup was straightforward and truly plug-and-play. Unlike other LARKSOUND products I’ve tried, the included optical cable worked right away, and it only took a minute to navigate the TV menu to recognize the device. The sound quality is ideal for seniors who need voice amplification rather than a cinematic audio experience. My mom has enjoyed watching TV more comfortably, and the base doubles as both the charger and TV connector, which makes it easy to manage. The neckband is made of harder plastic, so it may be less comfortable for lying on your side, but it can simply be placed nearby while still providing sound. Overall, this is a convenient, well-designed option for seniors who want better TV sound without earbuds or headphones. It is made in China, competitively priced under $100, and provides excellent functionality, ease of use, weight, and portability. Five stars.

Plug and play. No set up required
This works really well with my Samsung TV. At night when the kids are asleep you want to be able to watch some tv but since the tv so far away you need to turn the volume up. Then explosions happen and it becomes tom loud but when you turn it down you can't hear anyone when they speak. I'm sure everyone goes through that and we end up putting on subtitles. This really solves that issue if you are having that. You can plug this in via 3.5 mm jack, optical or hdmi. On my tv I have it plugged in using the optical port. It's about 20 feet away from the base and I don't get any interference at all. I can hear the shows clearly around my neck. It allows me or my wife to sit back on the bed and watch shows at night. Each side has its own volume adjustment. You can have one side louder than the other. The base charges the speaker but you can also use usb c cord. Once you connect it that's it. There is no set up. On the tv with the optical port used, you have to turn the volume down on the tv in order to use this without the tv audio on. When I mute the tv it also mutes this headset. So turn down volume on tv and then you can use this by itself. It's not very large so if you have a large neck it might not be comfortable. It's meant for the hard of hearing or anyone who just wants to better without loud noises all over. It works pretty good and great for everyone. I recommend it.

The biggest thing she is enjoying is the voices are so much clearer & Understandable
Absolute game changer. My wife likes the subtitles on and the volume up. Not so loud that it is an issue for me but I'd be fine with it a bit lower and can now do that. I do not like subtitles as they always seem to cover something??? I saw this and grabbed it. I installed/hooked it up which only took a few minutes, really simple! I have the splitter so I keep everything else connected. Charged up this sound system and asked my wife to try it. WOW she said! This is reasonable on comfortable to wear for a movie and an evening watching the tube, she loves the volume controls and it is a personal sound system that she controls and has actually loved it. The biggest thing she is enjoying is the voices are so much clearer & Understandable and with the modes she found what works for her. She is even ok with subtitles off most of the time now! There are others on the market, many that are more expensive, even double or triple the cost but the other priced near this don't seem to be this good and the name Larksound has been very good for me. I have other sound products from them that have worked spectacularly just like this has. This was worth every penny! BTW, my wife is not elderly.
