It floats!
My nephew absolutely loves Legos, and this set was a big hit for his birthday! He’s really advanced for his age when it comes to building, so even though the Lego City Fire Rescue Boat set was pretty simple for him, he was still thrilled to get it. He had been asking for “floating” Legos for a while, and this set was perfect because the boat actually floats in the water. We surprised him with it on his birthday, and he tore right into the box. He put the whole thing together in no time, which didn’t bother him at all because he was so excited to try it out in the pool. The pieces fit together nicely, and the instructions were really clear, so he didn’t need any help from us. What made it extra fun is that the set comes with a couple of mini-figures and some little accessories, which he used to create his own fire rescue scenariosl. I think he liked that it’s not just for building but also for playing in the water. If you’re looking for a gift for a kid who loves Legos and wants something a little different, I’d definitely recommend this one. It’s easy to build, really fun to play with, and the floating feature makes it stand out from the usual Lego sets.

Big hit for bath time but watch the small pieces
Got this set for my first grader and it was a surprisingly fun build. He was able to put most of it together by himself using the tablet instructions, which gave me a nice break. The best part by far is that both boats actually float. We immediately took it to the bathtub, and he had a blast using the little jetpack and launching the water pieces at the pretend fire. The only real annoying thing about this set is how tiny those little translucent blue water elements are. Because he mostly plays with it in the tub, we have almost lost them down the drain twice already. You also have to make sure to tilt the boats and let them dry out completely on a towel overnight so the water doesn't get trapped inside the plastic crevices and get gross. Overall, for under thirty bucks, it is a really solid toy that actually gets played with after being built instead of just sitting on a shelf. Just keep a close eye on the shooting elements if you let your kid take it in the water. No missing parts, great value and appearance!

Fun project with grandfather! Lehos are the best!
Bought this for my 6 year old grandson. I was impressed by how great the instruction book is. He worked with his grandfather to put it together. Great quality as lehos always is. It looked great when it was finished. He had a great time playing with it for a long time when completed. They included extra parts. Very good details . Playability was great.
