An absolute joy to build!
I've always loved the way Lego WALL-E looked, but I missed out on the first run of this set under the Lego Ideas theme. Now that Lego has remade the set, with the inclusion of EVE and MO, picking this up was an easy decision. The original Lego Ideas version of this set that included only WALL-E retailed for $35, so for this one to be released at $70 with BOTH characters was a welcome surprise, especially considering Lego's recent inflation prices and the fact that it's a Disney licensed set. It's a great value for what you get, even when it's not on sale. WALL-E is easily the highlight of the build. EVE and MO are cool, but WALL-E has the most complex design, the most detail, and the most articulation. His eyes are adjustable to the same degree that he can move them in the movie. His neck joint is very satisfying to mess with. His arms and fingers are posable, and his shoulders are on a track that allows them to be positioned along a sort of upside down "L" shaped grove on the sides of his body. The treads roll very easily and provide a satisfying play feature. There is also a chest compartment that can be opened on WALL-E's front and it's big enough to house either the iconic plant growing out of the boot, or one of WALL-E's compressed trash cubes. Also the tiny cockroach was a nice little added detail. EVE's arms can be positioned as well, but despite being the more advanced robot, she has less play features and articulation. It felt like building a penguin. Her arms can actually be folded into her body completely, which makes for a really satisfying streamlined feel. EVE also has room inside her design for the plant in the boot, however accessing this requires removed the entire front of her body, which isn't nearly as elegant of a design as WALL-E. As an experienced builder, I didn't have any difficulties assembling either model. I was able to complete the set in its entirety before WALL-E (the movie) finished playing in the background. WALL-E's treads were the most tedious part of the build, but the end results are worth it. I also appreciated Lego's decision to make WALL-E and EVE have separate instruction manuals and separate bags. This allows the set to be used as a great couple's activity or just building with a friend. Given their designs, if you have a younger or less experienced builder, I would definitely suggest giving them EVE. Happy building!

Adorable to put together with a second person
It's a Lego branded Disney set, of course it's good quality. You can pose the characters to an extent with arms and neck being posable for display. Comes with 2 separate instructions so you can build both characters with another person. Ended up being a fun date night and watched the movie while we made it. It did take about the length of the movie to complete.

Super Cute and Fun to Build
WALL-E is my favorite movie and I’m so glad I was able to get this set. Not only do you build WALL-E, but you can build EVE and MO! It was easy and fun to assemble. This is definitely one of the cutest sets LEGO has released.
