Beautiful Set!
We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 11 year old son. It took him a few days to put together. It's a little on the pricey side for a Lego set but what an amazing set! It's very sturdy and turns nicely. My son has it on display on top of his dresser. Pretty impressive! Make sure you select the option for it to ship in an Amazon box instead of it's own packaging. You don't want a shipping label placed on the beautiful box. Ours came packaged well in an Amazon box.

Christmas hit for my Lego-loving son!
I purchased this for my Lego-loving 9 year old son. It took him a few days to put together, working a few hours a day. It really is amazing when complete. It has a light glow in a dim room. We actually have it displayed on our mantle, and get comments on it all the time. Yes, it was expensive, but so worth it, as it provided hours and hours of entertainment. My son was able to independently create this Lego.

Fun build, nice globe
I got this for my wife for Christmas, and all of us enjoyed the build. Looks great - if you blur your eyes, it's a great globe. In fact, it's a work of art, so isn't 100% accurate to the real world, but in any case, it's a fun build for everyone.
