UPDATE: LilGadgets stands behind their product!
UPDATED - 5/4/17 I am updating my review due to the unusual, and fantastic customer service I received from Jacquie at LilGadgets. She contacted me the same day after I left my original review. She apologized for the units failing, and stated that they have since improved the type of plastic used in the extendable arm area of the headphones. I can not confirm this, however, because she graciously sent me their higher end "Pro" version as the new replacement units... New! LilGadgets Connect+ Pro Premium Volume Limited Wired Headphones with SharePort for Children (Purple) . I left my original review on 4/26/17, and I already have in hand the new replacement units 1 week later. Amazing! The new ones are slightly more robust, and have a steel insert in the plastic extendable arm. I am confident that these will last significantly longer than the original units. As I said in my original review, we loved everything about these headphones except for the fact that the plastic failed in a vulnerable area. Jacquie did state that the plastic was now stronger in this area, so I would not hesitate to give the LilGadgets Connect+ Premium Volume Limited Wired Headphones with SharePort for Children - Blue another chance. Especially, since this company has proved to stand behind their products. However, now that I have the Pro versions in hand, I would highly recommend spending the additional cost since they a steel insert. Worth the piece of mind. Thank you Jacquie for making this right! Original Review - 4/26/17 - Love them! Until they break... We started out loving these, but soon realized that for the money they do not last long enough. I do not actively review products on Amazon, but always utilize them in my research before making a purchase decision. In this case I felt that it was necessary for others to be aware that these headphones break easily from normal use. The headphones work great when new. We purchased 3 pairs about 9 months ago,and all three broke ... two within 6 months, and the third just a few weeks ago. We Loved them while they worked. The share port is great when you have multiple little ones in the car. Unfortunately, all three pairs failed due to a bending, and finally breaking, of the extending arm attached to each earpiece. Each pair developed the bend / crease at the plastic extension arm from the normal use of putting the headphones on, and then taking them off, the head/ears. This motion is necessary, repetitive, and normal, so it should not cause the unit to fail. This happened to first three pairs we purchased. Initially our kids enjoyed the units so much, that when the first unit failed we purchased a fourth. Soon there after the other two broke, so we are not replacing them. The fourth unit is about 4 months old now, and we are trying to be extremely careful so that this pair lasts significantly longer than the last three. The company needs to change the plastic extending arms to a flexible metal so that it can absorb the motion of putting them on, and taking them off the head. Also, worth mentioning, the wires for two of the units also failed. Love the fact that they are not permanently attached to the unit itself, but unfortunately, we had to purchase replacement wires within a few months.

Excellent customer service
UPDATED 4/27/2016 As soon as I posted my review below, I heard almost immediately (less than 15 minutes) from Founders of Lilgadgets and their personal apologies my experience. In my opinion, great customer service has seemed to fall to the wayside so it has been so refreshing to have received such excellent customer service. In less than a week, I received two new sets of headphones and look forward to using them. Jacquie (the owner) explained to me that the cement used in the construction of the hand ands was breaking for those produced in December 2015. She has assured me the issue has been resolved and I believe her 100%. This is obviously a company that prides themselves on their product and takes it personally if their customers are not 100% satisfied. I am incredibly impressed with the customer service and I looked forward to experiencing the improved quality with this new set of headphones. Thank you, Jacquie. I would definitely recommend this product given their 100% customer satisfaction guarantee (as I have personally experienced it myself). ORIGINAL REVIEW 4/23/2016 If I had written this review within the first month after receiving, I would have given them 5 stars but now I wish I could give them 0. I bought 2 pairs - one for my son and one for my daughter. They fit them both perfectly (aged 4 and 2) and it was great they had the share point function that they could both watch something at the same time if they wanted. I got the headphones for them for Christmas 2015 and all worked well for the first 3 months. In early April, my son brought his over to me because the headband on the left side had snapped in two and was hanging on by the wire. I assumed he had accidentally pulled to hard to adjust the ear piece and it had snapped in two. I was extremely frustrated since we had not had them very long and didn't understand why he was not more careful. I ended up buying him a pair of the wireless headphones from lilgadgets since I noticed the headband was made out of metal rather than the plastic. I did not think to even blame the quality of the construction until today when I got out my faughtet's headphones and I as I adjusted the headphones to cover her ears, the same thing happened to hers - the left side headband cracked in two. I don't believe in coincidence that this just seemed to happen to both sets of headphones in the same month. I am extremely disappointed, especially given the amount of positive reviews. I wonder if any others have experienced this same issue. I have to believe it was an issue since the newer wireless options have the metal headbands rather than the plastic. We have only had the wireless for 2 weeks so I don't have a long track record (give me three months) but at this time I would recommend going ahead and pay a little more for the wireless option.

Great product with a design flaw, but amazing support. 4 stars for product, 5th for customer service.
So like many others, the extender broke at about 3 months. I emailed support, and the awesome team there sent another set out to me, in less than a week. No hoops, no 'qualified' warranty nonsense. Just a confirmation of my original order number, and address! They even let me switch colors, since kiddo had a favorite color change. Sadly, the replacement broke in the exact same spot, about 3 months later, and so I emailed them again. Just as fast, I was offered a replacement, but this time as an upgrade to the set with the metal reinforced extenders. I'm starting to suspect the issue is that they might be just a tiny bit too small, and the extender plastic too brittle to put up with it, but that's the way my kiddo likes his headphones. He wants them to fit super tight on his head, and complains about other pairs that are 'too loose'. Now, my kid has gone through so many other pairs of headphones, usually for these reasons: Foam rips, tears or comes off and no amount of praying, incense and sacrificial offerings to the headphone gods ever gets them back on. Ever. The cord will fray and wear out either at the junction to the headphones, or kink then the coating splits, or at tear at the plug end, or the dang things just stop working. NONE of this has ever happened with the lilgadgets headphones. The padding hasn't come off once - this usually takes about a week with my kid. The cords are NICE. They well reinforced and they do not kink or tangle. Being able to pop the cable off to store it has been lovely, and sharing sound via the shareport built in with his cousin has been awesome. They sound decent for little kids headphones, and they are nicely limited - we've been through probably 7 or 8 different brands now, and not all are actually 'limited'. The padding at the top is nice, and the entire set wipes off nicely with a slightly damp rag and still looks brand new after. So despite the breakage, I'd definitely recommend these, just perhaps to maybe younger children or those with smaller heads, at least until they work out the plastic for the extenders. If it wasn't for the breakage there, I'd have zero problems with this headset. And their support team is absolutely awesome. If you have problems after purchasing, they will definitely do what they can to fix it.

Durable and perfect size for little ears
Great product for my kids! I am giving this a 5 star for durability and volume control. These were delivered from "Santa" and we have given these lots of use for the last 7 months. My car came with factory bluetooth headphones and I felt my kids (3 & 6 years old) could possibly break them, plus I wanted a volume limiter set in the headphones. I was a little worried the volume limiter might make it hard to hear in the car from freeway noise, but honestly they are surprisingly loud while on the highest volume. The volume is easy to control in my car where the kids can't even touch it, but I would be concerned if the kids were on their tablets with these as they have easy access to adjust the volume. That being said I am thankful they have the limiter considering headphones without the limiter could really damage their ears. We got a blue pair and pink pair and the kids absolutely loved the color and the size for theirs ears. They are adjustable and and don't slip out of place once expanded. My daughter did throw hers down on the floor of the car while they were still expanded and she accidentally stepped on them while getting out of the car, surprisingly they didn't snap in half, but the plastic did bend and left a small tear. We will have to baby them more now in order for them to not completely snap in half, but like I say they were stepped on and it taught her a lesson to be more careful. I like that the cord it comes with has a threaded covering to protect it. The length is great for the car. I have a large SUV and the cord connects down near the ground and the kids sit elevated in carseats and the cord still has plenty of slack. My 3 year old son did chew on his cord (little beaver chews on everything) and eventually the cord quit working. I easily bought a nice replacement cord on amazon. We've had no issues since, plus to teach him a lesson I made him go without headphones for a month and he has yet to beaver chew the new cord! Yea! I also love that under each earpiece has an input jack so the kids don't need a splitter if sharing a tablet or ipod. Thanks for making a great product!
