Description
- Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a special-edition cast iron skillet! Featuring lyrics and imagery from America The Beautiful, the skillet is designed for cooking, gifting, and collecting. Seasoned with 100% vegetable oil, this 12 inch cast iron skillet is made without PFAS for a naturally nontoxic cooking experience. Plus, it gets better with every use. Proudly made in America since 1896. - SEASONED COOKWARE: Seasoning is simply oil baked into the iron, giving it a natural, easy-release finish and helps prevent your pan from rusting. Lodge pre-seasons all cast iron cookware with 100% natural vegetable oil: no synthetic coatings or chemicals. The more you use Lodge the better the seasoning will get! - RUST? DON’T PANIC! IT’S NOT BROKEN: When your pan arrives you may notice a spot that looks like rust. It is simply oil that has not fully carbonized. With regular use and care the spot will disappear. If you do notice rust simply scour the affected area with steel wool, rinse, dry, and rub with vegetable oil. - COOKING VERSATILITY: Our skillets have unparalleled heat retention that gives you edge-to-edge even cooking every time you use your skillet. Cast iron cookware is slow to heat up but retains heat longer which makes cast iron ideal for pan-frying and roasting, these delicious moments are cast to last. - FAMILY-OWNED: Lodge is more than just a business; it is a family. The Lodge family founded the company in 1896, and they still own it today. From environmental responsibility to community development, their heads and hearts are rooted in America. Lodge products are made in the USA with non-toxic, PFOA & PTFE free material.

Original Business made of pure Iron
I love Lodge cookware! I have three of their pans now. And I plan to get some baking ware soon. I bake sourdough bread almost every week and I’m excited to get the bread pans next. And then a flat skillet also. This is the third skillet I’ve bought. And only after two uses I was already able to cook over easy eggs without them sticking at all. They came out beautiful. I also have a 14.25 in and an 8 in. I was cooking with the 8 in every morning for just me. Uncured ham and eggs every morning. But I would have to cook the ham first and then mushrooms next if I wanted them that morning and then the eggs. It was time consuming. I’ve used my 14.25 to do this but it is so big and heavy for me that the small one just seemed easier. So I got the 10.25 in. It is the perfect size for a small meal. Now I can cook everything together. And we love the celebratory imprint for our 250 anniversary! I was going to get just the plain one but when I saw this one, it was the one. Our 14.25in is a Dolly Parton pan with the butterfly. It was our first one. And I happen to come across it at our local grocery for $10! We had been wanting to go cast iron so I didn’t pass it up. And I’ve used my stainless All Clad less and less. Now I cook mostly with my cast iron and my copper pans. They are heavy yes. But so worth the weight! I also bought some good thick pan holders for the handles. And I can fold one thinner one I’ve had and put it through the assist handle to use. I do have the Lodge silicone ones also but I don’t care for them. They slip and don’t fit very well in my opinion. The heavy cotton with the terry cloth inside are perfect. But if you cook with gas I would not keep them on all the time just when I need to pick them up or hold them. Enjoy!

Price point can't be beat. quality is superb
SWEET !!! Keeping in mind I bought this to actually use, granted I will probably limit it's use to the oven First outing was Cinnamon Rolls, and it worked exactly like it should Seasoning on these new Lodge Cast Iron are a little different than what you read online, look for people that actually use them..

Great reliable product for a great price.
Lodge is a great, reliable choice for Cast Iron and the prices are really good. This product has been great the pre-seasoning was really good, this cooks really evenly, and it holds its heat. Great for searing a steak.
