Roomy and more sturdy than it fist seems
I’m a professional photographer. I usually carry my gear in Pelican cases or a Backpack made by Lowepro or Tamrak , but I’m going to the Galápagos and needed something compact as a person item to carry my gear in. I ordered this and another hard shell backpack. My number one factor was that there was a strap to fit on my suitcase handle. When I received it, I was disappointed. It was not very firm and didn’t seem like it was going to protect my gear or even handle the weight. But because it had more pockets and storage than the second bag I ordered, I decided just to put my gear in it and see how it worked out. And to my amazement this little bag has an incredible amount of storage. I was able to fit my big telephoto lens and several other lenses along with 2 camera bodies and supplies. I also added my laptop, my travel documents and some personal items. I really thought it would be saggy and not withstand everything but it feels very Sturdy. I haven’t even expanded it because I need to keep it compact, but if I pick up stuff in my travels and need more room, I’ll have it. Plus once I arrive I’ll be able to expand it and shuffle some things around to make them more convenient. It also looks stylish. I definitely would recommend this bag.

Functional & Stylish
Great, attractive, functional, sturdy bag. I use it for work related travel. I’m generally only out of town one or two nights at a stretch. It easily fits everything I need including toiletries and an extra towel. It’s been absolutely fantastic. The laptop pocket is a little awkward. It’s just not very supportive to the computer and is a bit uncomfortable against my back if I don’t get the placement just right. Not so bad that I don’t like it overall, though. I notice a lot of my fellow business travelers use larger standard backpacks. This packs more like a small carry on and tags along like a book bag. I like that my hands are free when I’m navigating hotels and airports. It may fit under the seat on an airplane if not fully stuffed. I have not tried that yet.

I bought this bag to use for travel for work as well as to mission trips. I carried everything I needed for a three day work trip with no problem. The size works well for under the seat but if it is full to the max it is a bit tight. I also used it to travel to Honduras with my rolling suitcase. This bag made moving around the airport much easier! The color is great and I got a few compliments on it. The material seems like it will be easy to clean.

Great size for a carryon!
I bought this to use as my carryon for my trip overseas. I love the color (it is a light purple). I bought it because it opens like a suitcase which makes it easier to retrieve any item packed in there. It is well made - there are a good bit of pockets, I especially like the hidden one in the back. Well made!
