Nice, high-quality pen that would make a great gift

This is a really nice pen—it reminds me of one I was given by a teacher once as a graduation gift. Obviously, there are nicer brands of pen out there, but this has the high-quality feel of the kind of pen you could give as a gift or just buy yourself to use during times when you want to feel a little fancy. I got the blue firework design and it’s really pretty—the design on the body of the pen is probably my favorite aspect of it, honestly. The blue pattern is prominent enough to notice it’s there and make the pen stand out/feel special, but subtle enough to feel classy and understated (aka just right for something like this). The pen has some weight to it (but it’s not uncomfortable to hold/use, even for someone with pretty small hands). You twist the upper half of the pen to extend or retract the tip for writing/storage and that mechanism works well. It also writes smoothly and has a nice ink (I included a picture of some writing with it to show just how it writes). The box it comes in is also really nice (another plus if you plan to give it as a gift). It’s a little pricy for an everyday pen if you’re the type who goes through/loses pens, but that’s clearly not what this pen is intended to be. As a gift or splurge for someone who loves writing/journaling, it’s a pretty good value and a nice quality piece.

Surprisingly good for drawing, too

I love this heavyweight pen - it's comfortable to grip, with a nice heft. The ink is perfect, too! I actually draw more than I hand-write, and tested it out by inking a drawing of mine. Despite ballpoint pens not typically being used for art, it turned out really nice! The appearance is also fun, if a bit unconventional. I like that it came with spare refills, and the fancy case it arrives in makes a nice gift box, if you're shopping for someone and don't feel like wrapping anything. Overall, I'm very pleased with it!
