Skyjo is such a fun and addictive card game for all ages! The rules are simple enough to learn quickly, but the game is still exciting and competitive every time we play. Smooth/quick paced but not overwhelming.
Easy to understand. A good mix of strategy and luck. The quality of the cards is nice and they were easy to shuffle. My elderly parents LOVE this game. I really enjoy this as an option because it is fun but more importantly the turns are quick. You are NOT sitting there waiting 2-3 minutes while someone is looking thru their hand to play a card. I feel like young kids (as long as they can count and understand value) could enjoy this but they might need help with scoring.

Friends introduced us to this game and we had to buy our own. The game is simple enough for children but with enough opportunity for strategy that it is fun for all. Luck and strategy seem well balanced. The cards are of good quality, perhaps a touch thicker than regular playing cards. I could see playing this with regular playing cards, but the negative numbers found in the Skyjo deck do add an interesting twist to both strategy and scoring.

This is a clear winner for family game nights and trips. It's easy for new people to pick it up. There's enough randomness that nobody gets the board game bloodlust that can make game nights unpleasant, and there's still enough skill to keep people interested. Everyone from 8-10 year olds up through old folks can play and it works for 3-8 people. Highly recommened.
