There is really nothing wrong with this album. It's just not for some people.
I don't understand the big flap about the page sizes. No you can't use an 8x10 photo in the supplied pages, but protective sheet covers can be used instead. As far as the rivets coming loose? Mine didn't but has anyone heard of Velcro? The album is on $13.00. What does anyone expect? I didn't want to spend the money for a leather bound volume, which was totally unnecessary. I have family heritage photos, newspaper articles, telegrams and civil war keepsakes that I am consolidating into an album to be passed on to the next generation and this album fits the bill. For those interested, the actual pag width is 8-1/8" the length is 10-1/4". The area covered with stickum and cellophane is 7" - 7-1/8" and the entire length is also sticky and covered. I was able to insert a goodly number of sheet protectors with hard antique photos in the album as well. I have just ordered two more. Also, the sheet protectors do extend beyond the album cover when it is closed, however when it's open they are well within the confines.

Good Gift Option
Was curious about this, but the binding, and adhesive worked fine with the print outs for a family gathering. It would be great for anyone looking for scrap booking pictures together and giving it as a gift. Kinda a vintage look, which I personally like and holds the pictures in place good. The pictures have a film over them not just keeping them in place but it does protect them as well from anything that may damage them. The slips are easy to lift as well and takes no time when it comes to just adding whatever pictures in that you may want as well. Glides over the pictures so there are no smudges and you can visibly see the pictures just fine like the film isn't over them at all.

Nice Photo Album
This album was packaged well so the corners would not be damaged during shipping which was nice. The green and gold color was beautiful. This album will work for most of your photo needs. The one thing I was disappointed with is the pages inside the album will not fit an 8x10 picture. The album is well made and the adhesive holds the pictures in place. Overall it’s a good value for your money.
