Overall good quality, part of the phone clamp may be less so.
The tripod itself seems quite sturdy. The legs stay in position - they do not flop around. It appears very well made out of quality materials. I am less impressed with the phone clamp. The part that extends out of it flexes quite a bit and seems "plasticy". I will handle it carefully and add a follow up review if it fails. It does clamp firmly and holds quite well. Also the phone clamp has its own little tripod leg which is a nice touch. The clamp has two brass inserts - on different sides for holding the phone in different orientations - another nice touch. The ball swivel on the tripod locks via a spring loaded button so it is very easy to adjust the angle of whatever you have attached to the tripod. Overall it appears to be a well thought out system.

Great for the phone and Microphone stand
This is a great tripod for the phone and for the Shure microphone, it have a wide range of motion and it's easy to use. Before changing the position of the tripod, like the original point with a marker so you I u always know how to set it straight again, (and so your footage is never crooked or off senter)
