Amazing fountain pen (even for beginners) for the price tag
I've used this for around a week. For a cheaper fountain pen, this is lovely. I use it a lot and still have not gone through my first cartridge even 15%, which I was pleasantly surprised about. The pen is very very sleek and all-black with a nice finish (as of right now), which makes it look very cool and dapper to use. Additionally, it's somewhat heavy but moreso like a weighted item and not bulky at all, which I appreciate as I typically need more weighted pens to keep steady when writing (I write like a doctor accused of medical malpractice; that is to say, very loopy without bridging the gap between cursive and normal writing at all). The feel is lovely and the pen grooves for holding it is also helpful. It is very very obvious how to use it once you put the ink in. About the ink, now, the pen comes with a converter (which is inside of the pen body upon opening) and ink cartridges. They dry up VERY fast --- maybe 5 secs or so for your ink to dry (obviously helpful for no smudging). To put in the cartridge, you genuinely slot it in and push full-send for it. Don't feel like it'll break. The click it makes indicates when the cartridge is in right. I will also say that the case is convenient for me to use as I can put in two cartridges, this pen, the converter, and have extra space left over. When writing with the pen, its value is very very evident: it flows well without much pressure needed and writes from multiple different angles. It's helpful when writing in different directions, and the pen looks so sleek that I instantly feel OK taking it anywhere. It also does not bleed if left sideways for at least 2 hours, which I found very helpful (I would leave it upright for best practice, though!). I haven't tested out the converter yet, but the slider on it does feel a tad bit flimsy --- once I test it out I will update this comment. Otherwise, the cartridges are very very helpful. I really would recommend this pen for a cheaper option. The inks it comes with is very helpful and I'm a beginner to fountain pens itself, but the pen seems very comfortable and a classy option for being 14 dollars on Amazon. I don't get cursive fully so my writing can be a tad bit rough and stunted, but overall I'd blame me for that over the pen. Expect an update if anything goes wrong, but for now this pen is awesome.

Good pen, enjoyable to use
The pen moves smoothly with just enough drag to mimic the resistance of a dip pen. It is weighted to feel comfortable in the hand but not tire the writer. The cap clicks closed solidly. The line is fine but not supper fine; a good quality for writing long letters. I have not experienced any skips or blotches. I am enjoying using this pen for journaling. It's a good cross between a calligraphy type experience and the smooth flow of a ballpoint pen. A modest priced pen that gives high quality results.

Its a pen
I have no idea what qualities make for a good fountain pen but it writes smooth, the cartridge hasn't leaked and it feels nice in my hand. 5 star???
