so far so good
today is 11/11/25- bought this unit oct. 2024. we have gas heat so a humidifier is a MUST. long gone are the days where you can just sit a metal coffee can of water on your old gas heater. man i miss those old gas heaters. anyways - we used this humidifier from oct. 2024 until we turned the heat off in april 2025. i gave it a good clean let it dry well and then stored it in a pillowcase behind the turned off gas heater until last week... when we finally gave in and turned on the heat... i had forgot about not using cool water/ the unit would not run... i am like well crap only got one season out of it.. then hubby and i got to chatting about it and he remembered that the water has to be at least room temp. so put in some tepid water - it came right on... and they are serious about not getting over that fill line - NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT- another thing i had forgot about on the 2nd fill.. so finally remembered that - got a little cup and scooped out enough water to get below the fill line.. came right back on... some of these features are annoying.. but unit works as it should when you follow the instructions.. cleaning the piece the mist comes out of is a pain in the butt... those little tabs are tight... cleaning the water tank is not bad. i just take a vinegar rag and wipe the whole thing out.. use a few qtips with vinegar to get the tight areas... i do not use the light... thank goodness the light has an off button... the mist that comes out is adequate for us. we are using it in about a 300 sq ft room. it is nice to be able to adjust the mist as needed... would i buy this unit again if needed?? maybe. it is not the best but also not the worst humidifier i have owned... i hesitated awhile on this purchase... i like all the features - but reviews were mixed.. i have only had it a few weeks. so far i am glad i got it... it fit in the space i needed it for... controls are easy to understand and use... and a big plus for me - u can turn off the annoying light feature.. i like the ability to turn the knob on top and direct the flow of cool steam... u can also use the dial on the side and control the amount of steam... it does have a small tank - so you may have to fill it 3-4 times a day... escp.. if you crank up the steam. but not a huge deal.. it will shut off if the water runs out... as other reviews mention it will not operate if you fill above the fill line... and the fill line is faint... i took a black marker and went over the fill line... and if the water is to cool it will not operate until the water gets warmer... so i started using tepid water... and no problems after that... i am just using tap water... that may cut its life short... but lets be honest... nowadays sadly - nothing really last like it should. even with the best of care... my best expectations is to get maybe 3 yrs out of it... that is being optimistic...

works shocking well for 15 bucks
I've only had this for 4 days, running 24/7 but I was kinda excited to review this. Initially I saw it was on sale for 15 bucks but then I read the reviews and it made me hesitant. A lot of people said it sucks. I bought it anyway since I only planned on using it for 2 months but it's damn good. I suspect some people here just didn't know how to use it. If you fill it to the "max" line, there will barely be any mist. Product designer messed up by not makgin the max line the "optimal" line, which they do have also. If you fill it up to there only the mist shoots higher and larger than any other humidifier I've ever owned. The angle is also perfect too. I've had humidifiers shoot out at 45 degrees and the thing will wet my carpet. This thing is probably 80 degrees or higher. The mist shoots high and falls just enough forward to not land on the table. At the optimal line, I estimate it lasts around 5hrs. I also love the no spill design. By this I mean other humidifiers have you remove the whole container and fill it with water and it has a spring loaded plug on the bottom. When you put the container in the humidifier base, the plug opens and water goes in and touches the transducer. What happens is the plug doesnt have a tight seal and can leak as you move the container. The container also always has some weird shape that makes it hard to fill. This one on the other hand only has to open the top and pour water in. You need your own pitcher but it's much easier to fill and never leaks. However, it's possible the transducer will leak in the future. I didn't check its construction but other humidifiers that have failed on me have had the seal around the transducer leak. It's designed to fail. A leak proof design would have a sealed transducer sit inside the tank and have only the small hole for wire sealed. This design would never leak and it's obvious it was designed to fail after a certain time period. As for the noise, don't put it next to your head and the noise is quite tolerable. It's lower than fish tank. Also the night light is a nice touch, the thing looks great. At 15 bucks, this product is amazing. If I was living in the harsh winters that I used to be in again, I'd buy 3 of these and survive the winter for only 45 bucks. Most cheap humidifiers fail after 3 months anyway and they usually cost 40 dollars and their mist isn't as good as this one. If this fails on me in under 2 months, I'll come back to give it 3 stars but for now, it deserves 10 stars. Tips for this, fill up to optimal line only. Have a pitcher of water next to it so you can refill easily. Leave the light on for style and it helps to see how low the water level is too. edit: so I've had it over 1 month now. I run it 24/7. The thing is still going strong. Probably the best humidfier I ever had even in the 40 dollar range but this cost only 15!!!!

MegaWise lives up to it's expectations and can be used for multiple purposes
This humidifier is easy to fill and clean. The lid removes easily and inside the humidifier it tells you where to fill, so you don't over fill or under fill. This humidifier is a game changer with it being small in size and also efficient with holding a good amount of water. Winter months are dry in my house and it s cold season. I use this humidifier for a wide range of things it's fully functioning by keeping my skin hydrated and my sinuses moisturized with my hot air heat. Also I have kids and when they have stuffy noses and coughs this humidifier is great for them. I also hydrate my plants who are humidity lovers! The ambient colored lights are suitable for a soft night light. Very portable moving around my house for multiple uses! I actually will most likely be purchasing another one. The controll knob makes it easy to adjust how much moisture you want in the air and it works great a nice mist which fills my medium sized bedroom of about 300 square feet.

Excellent! Absolutely 💯 perfect 👍
It's easy to use (I put in warm water at first by mistake and it didn't work but just added a tiny bit of sea salt and a cup of cold water and it worked right away!). It provides a huge amount of steam. So much it makes my room cooler and I have a massive space. I had to set it lower. Is almost silent. I was really congested and everything was dry from my air purifiers and this has helped within 6 hours if less. I of course turned off the air purifiers while using it. My head congestion almost instantly went away. I am very happy. I just don't know exactly where I feel comfortable putting it. It doesn't leak but I really dislike having water around electricity but it's the nature of the product. Highly recommend it.
