Absolutely Beautiful and Elegant!
First, I love all things "Mikasa". In 1986 my husband bought me a complete set of Mikasa "Sketchbook" china by Bob Van Allen. I still have every piece and it is still magnificent and on display! This purchase, the Mikasa "Kiley" Bone china is absolutely beautiful. The dishware is light weight and very elegant and I do use it for our everyday dishware. I would not advise this Mikasa Kiley for a home with young children, the dishes feel fragile. They do say on the back they are dishwasher and microwave safe, that is a huge plus! (They would not be safe dropped on the floor or knocked off the table) I am so glad my days of raising children are over. I use different dishware when the grandkids are here.

Lovely for everyday.
Lovely, light, stack nice, heat in microwave well and I can put in dishwasher. So far no scratches from the silverware and I have looked. The pattern on the dinner plate does have lighter and darker areas making it more shabby chic looking. Overall pleased with the quality. Also a lot of people said they had plates arriving chipped but I ordered 2 sets and both were perfect. I have another set hopefully coming soon.

Beautiful Blue and Dishwasher Safe
Pretty lightweight. Love it because it’s in my color - blue. I’ve washed them a few times and they're dishwasher safe. I hate to admit that I’m a Mikasa-first fan. They’re quality and never chip. I only wished that they were 8-piece set with matching tea sets.

These dishes are absolutely beautiful! I've had them for a few months now, we use them daily and I still smile every time I take one out of the cabinet. These dishes are perfect for everyday or for an elegant dinner party!
