Real mulberry silk pillowcases
These pillowcases are lovely. The mulberry silk fabric is soft and smooth, and it feels great against my skin. The standard size is *just* long enough to fit our pillows (we use these: https://a.co/d/0eMdWIfR). The invisible zipper at the opening glides smoothly and stays closed during use. I’ve not had it come open at night at all, even though I tend to bunch and squish my pillow. My pillowcases almost always slip by morning, but not these. They’ve been great. I’ve seen another reviewer question whether the fiber content is actually silk and point out that the inside of the pillowcase is rough. I’m an experienced seamstress, and I can tell this is real silk satin fabric by the look and feel. The first thing my husband said when he felt it was that it must be real silk, because it didn’t stick to his rough hands as synthetic satin does. The washing instructions are consistent with proper care for silk as well. These pillowcases are made from single-sided satin, which means only the outside of the fabric is soft, with the expected satin luster, while the back side is matte and rougher. If both sides had the satin luster, it would be a double-sided satin fabric. It is simply the way it is woven and has nothing to do with the fiber content. These are definitely silk. I handwash all of my silk items and hang them to dry, and that’s exactly what I did as soon as I pulled these out of their packaging. These pillowcases are thin enough that they dry within a couple of hours of hanging them up in my laundry room on a mild day, and I can use them the same night. Overall, I’m extremely happy with these pillowcases. They are comfortable and pretty. I’ll probably be buying more of these for the other beds in my house.

Another win from Miss Adola! I have several of their items, including silk pillow cases, and I love them! The only thing I've had an issue with is pilling. I put them in lingerie bags before washing, and then I hang them to dry. I'm really not up for the time and mess to physically hand wash silk pillow cases, but I may have to if the pilling continues and see if it helps. I love the patterns Miss Adola uses- the flowers, cats.....nature! And the feel of silk is great against your skin and supposed to be good for your hair. Sometimes my face tends to stick a little to silk pillow cases, but it could be because I put lotion on my face. Silk is also nice in summer if you like that initial cooling sensation silk gives. Their pillow cases have hidden zippers on the end which is awesome! Zippers alone are pretty much a must with silk because otherwise the case would slide right off your pillow. :) But the fact they use hidden zippers looks so much better. (Hint- if you get one of their silk body pillow cases, the zipper is lengthwise on the case! Not at the end! Genius! OHHHHHHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH! You just saved me from 10 minutes of struggle in putting a body pillow case on!) I love being able to find a nice selection in patterns and sizes of REAL SILK pillow cases at reasonable prices. Excellent soft, luxurious silk cases for anyone looking for comfort
These are a beautiful pair of silk pillowcases that are so soft and soothing. I am familiar with this brand’s home products and find them reliable. I chose the “watercolor flower” design, because it’s got deep saturated flower colors that work well in any season. The pillow cases are well-sewn with perfect stitching and no loose threads. I particularly love the hidden zipper. You really have to look for the zipper pull to find it. You can use these on pillows or just as a cloth draped behind your head on a reclining chair. My two cats continuously try to sleep on them. They are made from mulberry silk, which is the natural kind made by silkworms eating mulberry leaves. I’ve used silk scarves since I was a kid when my Dad brought them from overseas. This kind of silk is good in both hot and cold weather, always comfortable. It is worth hand washing to protect it. You just need a drop or two of liquid soap in cold water in the sink, a few quick swishes, letting it drip dry hanging as flat as possible clipped to a hanger. By the way, these silk pillow cases are not just for women. I know that one of my adult kids complains when I give them to his wife, and he says he’d like some also, like for days he has migraines. A good value at twenty bucks for two. Plus they come neatly packed in a gift box for convenient gifting.

Boy oh boy
For years I was sleeping with a satin pillowcase as the silk ones were way too expensive…or so I thought! Truth be told I did not think there was an actual difference ! Boy oh boy was I wrong! I found this 2 pack & I am beyond thrilled with the quality! The softness is unmatched! The zipper is so smooth! I ordered the roses design & it is beautiful!! Highly recommend especially if you are prone to getting hot during the night, this pillowcase is a dream!!
