Makes kindle ready so comfy
I love this. I had originally bought a case with a built-in strap. I hated it. It was great in my right hand, and then useless in my left as the strap was on the right-side of my case. So I swapped the case for one without a strap, and bought this adjustable strap. I was worried it would be bulky or distracting where it hooks onto the kindle, but it really isn't. I don't notice it at all while I'm reading. The ability to move it to where I need it makes using my kindle in either hand super easy and really comfortable. I can easily hold my kindle one-handed and I love that. The design is fine. I went with it because it was on sale and super inexpensive, the other colours cost more. Hopefully the elastic lasts a good long time. It feels like it's pretty good quality. I will definitely replace it when it eventually wears out though.

Fits devices smaller than a kindle
I've been looking for an alternative to a popsocket since I like having the option to take it off so the back of my case is visible. BUT my biggest concern with this strap was that my e-reader (a boox palma) is much smaller than a kindle, only just slightly taller than my Samsung S23. I bought it anyway in hopes that it would fit, thinking that maybe at the max I'd need to make a small adjustment so it would fit snug, but I was surprised to find it fit perfectly. Not only did it fit on my boox palma, it even fit on my phone. It's super practical, easily coming on and off and switching angles, sturdy and does not feel like it will fall off, comfortable to hold, no sharp fabric/leather edges that cut or press on the fingers, and it's super cute. Definitely worth the buy.

Handy. A bit snug when using with my kindle case
I have a case for my Kindle Colorsoft that flips over for reading. This, obviously, makes the corners thicker than the uncovered Kindle. But, I don't want to uncover my Kindle just to use this hand strap. The brackets need to be stretched over the corners of the open case, but it's doable. One advantage of this extra tightness is that the strap is very tightly secured. Overall, I do like it, and its very pretty too! And very reasonably priced.
