After four others failed since 1994, this is the one we bought again.
We are a twice-a-day coffee household, and this Mr. Coffee 4-Shot Espresso, Cappuccino, and Latte Maker has absolutely earned its place on the counter. To put this in perspective: since about 1994, we have gone through four other machines that all eventually gave out. This one? It held up for years of daily (and I mean at least twice daily) use before finally calling it quits—which felt like a very fair run. We replaced it with the same model without hesitation. It makes consistently great coffee—rich, reliable, and easy to work into a busy routine. No drama, just gets the job done. A couple of small notes: The water tank opening is a bit recessed, which makes filling it slightly awkward I ran the basket and handle through the dishwasher once, and it tarnished the metal—lesson learned. It still works perfectly fine, just looks a little more “well loved” now Also worth noting: when our adult son visited and used it, he immediately went home and ordered one for himself. In short: not fancy, but hardworking—and after decades of trying other machines, this is the one we came back to.
