Please do yourself a favor and buy these for your upcoming gathering. Everyone at my garden party just loved these and thought they were actual glass or crystal flutes. The gold rim adds a very nice touch. They are light and easy to grab for any guest that may have arthritis or difficulty with grabbing heavy or large cups. I have used these about three times and the gold trim has not rubbed off during cleanings. Do not put these in the dishwasher, please wash by hand as they are plastic. My mom stopped by for lunch and stole six of them, as she loved the look and how light they were. My aunt then stole those from her, so needless to say....I am now out twelve of these. The price is great for the quality, so you don't feel bad if you loose these or people accidentally throw them away during parties. Well, that's about it.

These were a nice touch for a large holiday gathering. More elegant than solo cups but no worries about glass breaking or all the dish washing post party. Plastic was thicker than I expected. Would buy again!
