A great gift and learning opportunity
This was a gift for my 5 year old son. He loves dinosaurs and loves to learn. The instructions are easy to follow, and everything you need (except water and sunlight) is in the box. The kit is typically good quality from National Geographic, and all three of our children were interested. The booklet contains age appropriate learning opportunities, but as we Home Educate, we extended these and made some science lessons to go alongside. It was fun for our son to get up every day, water and observe the growth and the highlight effect is a really cool extra. Would definitely recommend.

Big Hit! Should Have Bought More Than One!
The children absolutely loved this kit. My mistake was only getting one and thinking they would all work together, nope, they each wanted their own! It kept them engaged and excited, and they were so proud of their finished terrarium. Next science project, I’ll definitely be buying one for each child. Great hands-on activity and a big hit in our house!

What a fun learning gift!
I bougt this for my grandson and what a great gift this turned out to be. The directions were clear to follow and all of the materials were great quality. It was the perfect size to put on his dresser for him to watch the progress. We had such a great time doing this together. I will definitely be trying out other National Geographic kits.

Lots of fun!
My 4 year old nephew loves it. We put it together, and I hope the chia seeds sprout soon. Great directions with kid-friendly pictures. Has holes at the top for oxygen &the light can be set to cycle through changes or stay one color. My nephew enjoyed the puffy stickers he got to put on the sides.
