A Reliable and Highly Functional Daily Carry
This 23L ergonomic backpack has proven to be an exceptionally useful companion for my daily commute and leisure walks through town. The design strikes a great balance between professional utility and casual comfort. The backpack is constructed from a water resistant material designed to withstand various environmental conditions. A standout feature is the inclusion of high quality zippers that seal so tightly they leave almost no opening for water to enter during a light shower. While the fabric is water resistant rather than fully waterproof it provides peace of mind for urban commuting. The bag features a well organized layout including a main compartment specifically designed to fit up to a 16 inch MacBook or similar laptops. There are various internal and external secondary pockets for business and office essentials. The side water bottle pocket is deep enough to ensure bottles stay securely in place and do not fall out during movement. This avoids the bad experience of taking the backpack off and seeing your new pristine water bottle falling to the hard floor. Additionally the cushioning on the back forms a 4.5 inch deep open pocket that provides extra storage flexibility for items you want to keep close. The back panel is heavily cushioned for comfort. For those who travel frequently it includes a handle opening that allows it to slide over luggage handles. Measuring 17.7 x 11.8 x 5.9 inches this bag fits within standard airline personal item dimensions and easily slides under the seat in front of you on an airplane. Whether you are using it for a short trip or a daily office commute the anti-theft features and TSA friendly design make it a secure and convenient choice. This product was provided via the Amazon Vine program at a taxable cost representing a 60.7% to 84.7% discount after accounting for income taxes and federal withholdings. Consequently I only select items I intend to use and commit to providing a thorough and honest evaluation.

Generous capacity, if slightly lacking on organization.
While I tend to prefer messenger bags as my EDC I do find them a bit lacking for a more tech-focused carry. The NEXUS Work Pack alleviates all of my concerns with the messenger, offering robust passing and a pocket for (just about) everything. Specifically, I was in search of a bag that could hold my 13" MBA and iPad Mini, both in Nedrelow Magic Sleeve protectors. The sleeve bulks the MBA up to roughly the dimensions of a 15" notebook (one side a bit longer, the other a bit shorter) and I found it fit to absolute perfection within the laptop pocket. Similarly, the sleeved iPad Mini gets bulked up to around about the size of a 13" tablet and also fit great within it's own pocket. Mesh pockets opposite the tech pockets made for suitable storage for my mouse and charging ephemera. The powder blue inner lining really lightens the interior of the bag up, aiding in attempts to rummage it's contents. That's good, because the design stops uncomfortably short of being a full clamshell open, limiting accessibility to the depths of the bag. Straps were comfortable enough, though with a rigid laptop positioned at my back I'm not sure I'd want to wear it for an extended period. The primary non-tech compartment of the bag feels cavernous in terms of spaciousness, though meager in it's organizational offerings. That, I suppose, is my main criticism for the bag on the whole. While the organization is by no means bleak, this is the kind of pack I would quickly start thinking about what else I can add to it to increase that functionality (at the cost of space and weight.)

Great everyday work or travel backpack with smart organization.
I’ve been using this as my daily work backpack for a few months now, and it’s honestly the best one I’ve used in 10+ years working in IT. I carry quite a bit every day a 15" Surface laptop, a 16" gaming laptop, and a 13" tablet, all at the same time, plus all my usual tools, cables, and adapters. The side zipper pocket holds a 100W PD battery bank perfectly for charging a laptop. Everything fits without feeling crammed, and the organization actually makes sense. The different compartments and pockets keep things easy to find instead of turning into a pile at the bottom. The laptop section feels well-protected, even with multiple devices in there, and I like that there are smaller pockets for accessories and a couple of spots for things you don’t want out in the open. Even loaded up, it still feels comfortable to carry. It’s lightweight for the size and the padding helps a lot during longer days. I’ve also used it for short trips and it holds enough clothes and essentials without needing another bag, which is a nice bonus. Overall, this has been a really solid, reliable backpack for daily work use. If you carry a lot of tech or IT gear like I do, it handles it way better than most bags I’ve tried.

Minimalist Design & Features. Lightweight & Professional Look.
This laptop backpack is meant to have a streamlined, minimalist, and professional look. So it has less internal compartment space and cushioning than most other bags. Instead of thick, soft foam padding, it has denser and thinner padding that takes up less space yet provides ample protection for your laptop. The first main compartment is padded and can easily hold up to a 16” laptop. My Dell XPS 17 laptop fits comfortably into this compartment. The second main compartment can be used for accessories like cables, mouse, power adapter, etc. Both of these compartments contain several slip & zippered pockets/sleeves to organize smaller items. In addition to these two compartments, there is a large unpadded and zippered pouch section on the back of the bag for soft or lightweight items such as clothing and hats. As the product photo shows, this is a bag that can look just as good with a suit and tie as it does with jeans or shorts. And it takes up less room on your back or on a plane, train, or bus than other bags. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to put more foam padding on the bottom of the bag to better protect a laptop when placing/dropping the bag down on a hard surface.
