Heavy and Built Like a Railway Bridge
I was about to buy a keyboard stand recommended by the New York Times. Their choice looked innovative and well engineered. Unfortunately, it could not fold up flat. I am quite mobile through the day and I need something that will fit into a case or backpack. But fortunately I came across this nicely designed unit and I received it a few hours ago. It is seriously sturdy. There is nothing flimsy or weak about it. Its all metal construction gives it a lot of heft, so there is no way anyone could accidentally jostle it off a table. It holds my ThinkPad x250, my MacBook Retina Pro and my lightweight Chromebooks securely. A few pointers. The manufacturer is up front in saying that one cannot expect to type well directly on the laptop when it is in the stand. You really need a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse instead. So unless you are a praying mantis, give up on trying to perch over the keyboard. Also, the two main support arms have very stiff hinges. It takes more force than one would expect to start moving them around. Don't be afraid to really pull on the supports to get them to where you want. Nothing will break. I expect that weak children would really struggle. The unit is built to be solid, so solid that I just know that there is no way for the supports to sag or flop around like some other folding keyboard stands I've tried. This beast does a good job of raising a keyboard to a Standing Desk height and there is no danger of it toppling over. I will suggest however that if you start heaving on the supports and raising the laptop so you can stand behind your table at a coffee shop you will attract attention. This thing at full extension and height will make people think you've erected a construction crane. And one last thing. Keep the plain cardboard box that it comes in. It has a plastic handle and makes moving the stand from place to place a lot easier. I don't know how long the box will stand up to such use but probably longer than it will take you to find something more elegant. Full marks to the designers and engineers who came up with this.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!
Like so many others I am working from home full-time. I wanted a computer stand for my desk that would allow me to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day. I am elated with this stand. It is 110% sturdy. It offers a large range of height. This is good because I now use my computer screen as a video monitor for making work videos. That process requires height. Others comment on how difficult it is to adjust the height. I will say I do not have trouble with it or find it problematic whatsoever to adjust the computer stand quickly between back-to-back hourly Skype calls (20 -25 calls a week). It takes a little effort when pulling up the lower adjustable panel. It is totally doable! I do usually remove my computer when I do so, but that it not always necessary. This takes me about 1 minute max. I've had the product for 4 months or so. One of my best COVID purchases, if not THE best. I wonder if it took anyone else 4 months to find the black, plastic button you can press in immediately below the upper adjustable panel of the stand - the part that holds the computer?? I found it just last week. It makes ANY effort to adjust the stand I mentioned earlier a non-issue. I no longer need to remove my computer from the stand when adjusting the height from the black plastic button on the upper panel. One last reason to love the stand... okay two... It looks good in my home and work area - love the color and minimalistic design. Also, it folds down to slightly more than one inch thickness and can be put away and stored easily or carried on a trip. I would not fly with it. It is too heavy and would take up too much space in bags when flying. I carry it with me when I drive regularly to a second work location. I can set up my work station taking up minimal surface space. I've used it on a very small night stand with total comfort and ease. A little pricey, but more than worth it. It will last forever! It's so great to find a product you love everything about - a rare and wonderful occurrence. Thank you, Nulaxy!

Good quality, good looking, simple and effective.
You can find cheaper products out there which will do similar, but there's no doubting this is well built, solid metal, attractive stup. It has grippy padding on the feet so it doesn't slide even on my quite smooth desk and has good weight to it which counters a bigger/heavier laptop which I use. It looks sleek and professional on my desk and works as expected. It also ventilates quite well at least as my laptop sits on it which was important for me as I do game on it from time to time and that pushes the heat up obviously. Other use experiences; I can rest my hands full dead weight on the laptop’s keyboard and it doesn't fold down or tip. The downside to this is that the adjustment is very stiff. It takes a bit of heaving to get it where I want. I believe the movement can be adjusted, but I’ve not looked into this yet. Other little downsides, the top layer does wobble a bit when using laptop's keyboard, but that is to be expected and I suspect only a completely static non-adjustable stand would do otherwise. So, it really is designed for attached keyboard/mouse for ongoing regular use. The biggest drawback is it does get a bit unstable fully extended with my bigger laptop. My little 10.5 mini laptop has less issue here. This does not affect me as I will rarely use it in that form, but if you have a heavier laptop, and you have this fully extended use in mind, be aware. Otherwise, used at low to mid height, it's excellent and I'd certainly recomend this model.

Wirklich perfekt
Klare Kaufempfehlung.
