Amazing quality for little money
Initially purchased as gifts. Pretty enough that they didn’t need to be wrapped - I just fit the back portion of a pretty card behind the cardboard wrap and handed them out. Everyone appreciates a good notebook, but I didn’t realize how great this specific set was until recently. This past week, my husband ended up in the hospital through the ER and I grabbed the green notebook in my rush from home to keep for notes and questions that we would have. For 4 days, I wrote notes from numerous doctors and nurses with a sharpie retractable pen with no bleeding through pages, no issues with pages sticking together, no pages falling out even with the constant use of opening and closing the book using both the ribbon bookmark and the closing band. I threw it on the table, the cover got hit with water, it ended up between the wall and the medical bed, and I removed and replaced the pen from the the elastic band over and over throughout the day as I wrote down his vitals and test results several times an hour (IYKYK and I’m sorry you had to go through that). It remained as beautiful as it was when I took it out of its plastic, and the bright green covered guaranteed that I could find it among all the medical stuff around. The paper is off white, and the lines dark enough to see in the semi-darkness when there was a planned and controlled power outage and I had to write by the light coming in from the hallway. The sheets are thin enough to be compact and fairly lightweight, and while you can see that there is writing on the other side, it doesn’t bleed through or leave bumps on the other side from pen pressure. There is a back pocket that opens towards the spine, which is useful for holding business cards from office admin, or any other little odds and ends that would be needed. My husband is back home and okay, and I will continue to use the notebook to monitor his progress. I have just purchased another set of notebooks for myself, as it is small enough to throw in a purse, and write on it in your lap when tables are unavailable, but sturdy enough to handle being thrown around and abused. Also, pages stay open to the spot you are on without having to force it open all the time, which is beneficial when reviewing your notes. The price point for the regular cost is a deal compared to others that go for $15 each, but when I purchased them, they were 4 for around $12. I will be purchasing them when they go on sale again just to have on hand for anything and everything, including gift giving. TLDR: Great journals for yourself or gift giving. Sturdy and beautiful. Great quality, especially great deal for the money.

Compact Organization w/a Pen Holder
While I am a gadget gal who enjoys all the electronics and new apps, when it comes to my daily “Forget Me Nots” to do list, I am old school all the way. Guess that’s 20+ years under Uncle Sam’s salute. Works for me to have a compact book that slips into my purse or backpack. The pages are thick, lined. Markers are not likely to bleed through, not even Sharpies. The silk ribbon helps me find the current list of git ‘er done, and the beauty of this book is that it lays flat. The hardback cover makes jotting another ditty while leaning on your thigh reasonably legible. The pen holder keeps you equipped to check off accomplishments. This time I chose military green but the seller offers multiple options of mixed colors. Pastels, primaries, single color groupings like blue, black, etc. Other options include more or less numbers of these sturdy journals. As there are many ways these well-made books can be used, they are well worth the value as gifts. When I run out, I will definitely buy from this seller again. Shipping was super fast and well packaged against shipping damage (you know, in case your delivery person is on their last day, and it is the worst day of their life, their boss is horrible, and pretending your package is a soccer ball somehow seems to be a good idea….don’t worry. It will be safe from harm with this seller’s packaging.

I’ve been really impressed with these journals overall, especially for the price. The covers feel sturdy, the colors are gorgeous, and everything arrived without flaws or issues. The paper quality is also much better than I expected — the pages are fairly thick and feel more like sturdy notebook paper rather than flimsy journal pages. Even when writing in pencil and erasing, the paper holds up well. I actually purchased these to give to therapy clients for tracking between sessions, and they’ve been carried back and forth regularly while still holding up very well over time. I also really appreciate the extra features. The front reference/index pages are great for organizing sections, topics, or dates, which makes the journals feel more functional and structured. The bookmark string, elastic closure, and pen loop are all thoughtful additions that make them easier to use day-to-day. They may not be luxury-level notebooks, but they are absolutely good quality and feel like an excellent value overall.

As someone who journals daily and goes through a lot of notebooks, I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of this set. For $15, you get four hardcover notebooks in soft pastel colors — neutral and pleasant to look at. While I personally would’ve preferred slightly more sophisticated tones, the current palette is still clean and calming. The pages are thick and feel durable, and the binding is neat. My only small critique is the layout of the pages — there’s a pre-printed header with space for a “memo number,” date, and day of the week. While that may be helpful for some, I find it slightly distracting and would have preferred plain lined pages without the formatting. Still, overall I’m really happy with the purchase. These notebooks are sturdy, well-made, and a great companion for writing and reflection. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality notebooks at a very reasonable price.
