Customer reviews

No-brainer. Just get them.
Quality, roomy, HDPE and stainless steel rockers. Used the $40-off promotion, and then bought a second after I discovered how nice they are. Yes, as someone mentioned in another review, there is some pattern discoloration noticeable on the cross-cuts, as this is HDPE and not real wood. However, on the grey ones at least, the weathered design of the rockers makes it much less noticeable and practically a non-issue even if you do. Being right on the coast I'm still expecting these will last a decade or longer even in our salt air. Assembled them myself with relative ease - just took a little common sense. Having read countless nightmare assembly reviews for other HDPE rockers, I now appreciate these all that much more. Here are a couple of suggestions: In addition to the included Allen wrench, which works perfectly fine, I recommend using a Phillips screwdriver to ensure that the numerous pre-installed screws are as tight as you're going to want them. Even with this extra step, assembly took only about 20 minutes per chair. Don't tighten any one of the large, self-installed, bolts fully until you've gotten the chair back aligned and the final 4 of these bolts properly installed. Then go back and tighten all the bolts on the entire chair securely at one time. This will make fitting that final piece - the chair back - in between the chair sides a much easier task. Finally, on first glance, it will appear that the chair seat is cut symmetrically from both sides and ends as it has no stickers or other indications in the assembly instructions on which end should be installed front-facing. The uniformly-drilled bolt holes mean either end can be installed as the front of the chair, but very close inspection will reveal that the final slat on one end is tapered downward much more intentionally than that on the opposite end. The tapered one is almost certainly designed to be on the front side of the chair, as it will more comfortably accommodate the natural angles of your legs. The less-tapered angle of the slat on the opposite end also creates less of a gap between it and the chair's backrest, making it more visually appealing (see attached image). In the video review by Mike Healy above, if you look closely, you can see that he installs the chair seat sections both ways for his two chairs. On the side by side shots of the chairs, the one on the left has a seat that I'd call correctly installed. The seat of the one on the right was installed the reverse way. Even the assembly of the chairs for the marketing pictures in this very Amazon listing was apparently done indiscriminately from what I can tell. The grey and light-brown chairs look to have been assembled correctly, while the dark-brown chair has a seat that was installed backward/reverse. This is something you might not ever notice - until you do. Then you can't unsee it. It's pretty crazy that the company didn't mark the chairs somehow in this regard for assembly purposes as it is not at all obvious on first glance.

Beautiful and excellent quality.
I bought these rocking chairs after having purchased chaise loungers and Adirondack chairs from the same brand for my deck. I was extremely happy with the look and quality of those, and these chairs are no exception. They’re sturdy, beautiful, hefty, and very easy to assemble. These easily rival the well-known brand of HDPE outdoor furniture that costs 3 times as much. I’d argue they’re better. I can’t speak to the longevity yet as I’ve only had them a short time, and they haven’t endured any harsh Wisconsin winters or hot summers yet, but they seem like they’ll hold up beautifully.

Solid Product at an Extremely Reasonable Price
This is a really solid product. It comes neatly packaged and it took me about 15-20 minutes to assemble. All of the hardware and the only tool necessary (allen wrench) comes with it. I enjoy using it every day on the deck with my morning coffee. My mother-in-law recently had knee replacement surgery and stayed at our house for her recovery period. She loved the chair so much that I purchased one for her to take with her when she’s ready to go back home. I bought them both for $100 each and I consider them to be a great value.

Excellent rockers - quick assembly
Outstanding product. Fast assembly, very comfortable high and wide rockers. Perfect! One recommendation for manufacturer - mark the seat with “Front” - had to assemble two differently to determine which orientation of the seat was correct. Otherwise, excellent - just 12 identical screws per rocker. Highly recommend.
