Beautiful material, a hundred percent wool but soft.

Beautiful soft good size for a scarf. I was trying to match a hat from the stewart clan that I got when I was in scotland... It matched perfectly. It actually is a hundred percent lamb's wool, which is great, warm and still soft. The product came's packaged in the company's packaging, which was a clear cellophane which I think I would have preferred They would have put in the amazon packaging for safety as it's winter and was snowing in wisconsin... will have to remember to check that box to say yes, when it comes to do you want an amazon packaging next time, thankfully, the scarf was in good shape and not wet. It came quite fast.

Attractive, Comfortable and Warm

We've brought home scarves from Scotland and Ireland. This one matches the quality and feel of the mid-range scarves available in Edinburgh. Soft, refined lambswool does not need a lot of bulk to keep you warm, and that's what you get here. Really rich color in the Lindsay plaid, and this one measures 11x62 (plus a couple of inches of fringe on either end). The length is typical (60-63 inches) of this style scarf. I've seen longer...70-72 inches...search for that size if you want one like that. All said & done, seems like a good value assuming it proves to be as durable as our other Scottish and Irish scarves.

Nice scarf, but not Cashmere as described.

Very nice wool scarf, despite the self-conflicting and somewhat deceptive product title/description of the type of wool. As in, "Oxfords Cashmere 100% Lambswool Tartan Plaid Scarf." The material is not cashmere. It is 100% Lambswool, per the label, and it is not a lambswool/cashmere blend. (photo) There's a big difference: "Cashmere comes from goats and is incredibly soft, lightweight, and up to three times more insulating than sheep's wool. Lambswool, from a lamb's first shearing, is soft but more durable, thicker, and generally more affordable." - Wiki

So soft and natural

I got these for my hubby and I and the wool keeps us much warmer than synthetic fabrics. They are also breathable! We hand wash them in cool water with wool wash and lay them out to dry the wool dries really fast. There is some minimal initial shedding with the first wash but that goes away for subsequent washes. I have super sensitive skin and this scarf works well for me since it's not itchy at all. There is also no odor to them. The colors are rich and just gorgeous. I'm really happy I got these scarfs for us.
