This is life-changing!
Ok that might be hyperbole but it's even better than I expected. Now I just got this today so I can't speak on longevity but my biggest reason for getting it was to use at the gym when I'm riding or walking on stationary equipment. I keep my kindle in a cover, but the device fits fine. I was concerned that it would block text or be distracting but it's not. I actually ordered a different model that was supposed to be the least intrusive but the delivery date was postponed so I cancelled that one. I chose this one because I thought the ring would be easier to hold while walking or cycling. Today I cycled. I had to be creative in propping my kindle up to minimize glare and place the device but that's not a big deal, I place a piece of foam behind it so the angle is optimal and because of this page turner I don't have to touch it again! I can easily position the clicker (it doesn't really click) any number of ways. The ring makes it easy to keep in the same position, I'm glad I choose it. It doesn't go backwards but that's not a big deal because most of the time I'm not going backwards and if I need to I can still touch it the usual way. It was very easy to set up. I can't wait to use it in bed! Edited: I've been using this for a week or so and have some comments and observations. It works better on my Paperwhite than my basic kindle. The Paperwhite is a little larger and I can place the device closer to the edge where it isn't a distraction. When I try that on the basic it doesn't turn the page. If I move it further in it works fine and although it doesn't cover text, I have the option of my Paperwhite so that's the one I use this with. It's been great at the gym as I already mentioned and I love using it at night in bed. I have a foam book holder that has 3 angle positions which is perfect either with just a Kindle or Kindle and page turner. I wanted to clarify my experience with both Kindle models so people can decide for themselves. I wish there was a Bluetooth model of page turner that didn't need to be clipped. I see there is one on Amazon but it's expensive and only has 4 reviews. There are others that explicitly state they don't work with a Kindle at all. Until one is proven to work and be affordable I will continue to use this one. I keep the parts in a small zippered pouch beside my kindle

Yes, it actually turns the pages. I, you won’t notice it sticking out like a plastic clothespin after page one. This is so easy to use I bought a second one for family. Several different ways to wear it depending on which finger (or thumb) feels most comfortable. I have a history of carpal tunnel so that flexibility was most important for me. I charged both pieces before using so I can’t speak to long-term battery life but as to durability, these are two solid little pieces of plastic. Easy to set up and pair with each other (and no need to pair with kindle or iPad). Just know that if you don’t use it for several minutes it may go to sleep and need to be repaired, which is a simple click of the button on the clip and then the ring. Easy peasy and really handy.
