Nice Little Journal
I've ordered journals from this company before and got just what I expected: A quality product. The color wasn't what I thought I'd get, but that's probably due to the fact that my computer's monitor colors are off and I can't figure out how to adjust them. The snap on the strap is tight--almost too difficult to unfasten and refasten--but that's good as that means the journal isn't going to pop open in a bag or backpack. There is a nameplate/personal information page under the flyleaf page, which I liked, though I didn't use all the spaces created for the various pieces of information. This is for personal use, and I did not feel comfortable adding some of that information. Pages are thick enough that my fine tipped Sharpie Pen's ink doesn't bleed through, and I write in black ink due to poor eyesight. For use, it's a little flexible, as the pages are not numbered. Neither are they perforated, which I really like; some journals I've gotten, even good quality ones, had perforated pages that could be torn out, and as I'd like to keep the pages in this journal, I'm glad they are not perforated. A rather spartan journal, it has in one corner of each page a simple weather "indicator", below which are a line of boxes with the initials of the days of the week (starting on Monday). The opposite corner, on the upper right, of each page has a line for "Memo Number" below which is a space, with slashes preprinted, for the date. Pages are ruled with finely-dotted lines on both sides, and an off-white color that is easy on the eyes. The journal's three bookmarks are firmly attached and didn't come loose when I tugged firmly on each one individually. Pages appear to be bound by stitching, and while they do not always lie flat upon opening the journal to some spots, are still flexible enough to do so when pressed down gently. Overall, I'm as pleased with this product as I was with the one I purchased years ago, and have no current complaints. I've added some photos, including two measuring the journal's thickness against a ruler; they're at best approximations, but both the Inch and the Centimeter measurements should provide a better idea of how thick this particular journal is. The photos may need to be enlarged in order to see the marks on my clear ruler.

Lovely journals that make great gifts
I purchased these PAIBAS lined journal notebooks in five different colors to give as Christmas gifts, and I was very happy with them. They actually look better in person than online and have a nice quality feel for a journal at this price point. They’re not overly expensive, but they don’t feel cheap either — a great balance if you’re buying multiple gifts.
