RETURNED - REORDERED
I received the unit in a slightly damaged box with the security seal broken. After checking my BP, I discovered that other readings had been stored in memory. As for accuracy, I compared the readings to another known accurate monitor. It was within 2-3 points on both the upper and lower numbers. Depending on how the return goes, I will reorder and maybe this time I will receive a NEW wrist monitor - not USED. IF the return goes well and I do reorder, I will update my rating. HERE'S MY UPDATE (06/23/2023): I just received the "reorder." I did receive a new wrist monitor in an unopened box with the seal still intact and batteries not installed. The seller and/or Amazon were prompt in both the refund and delivery of the reordered unit received today. I took my blood pressure. after relaxing, and following the instructions given, EXACTLY. The Systolic (upper) Readings are 12 - 15 points higher when compared to an upper arm monitor and cuff. The Diastolic (lower) Readings are 2 - 3 points higher using the same comparison. There was some fluctuation in the comparisons, as to be expected. I recently purchased another LAZLE Brand upper arm monitor/cuff after my other LAZLE upper arm monitor "gave up the ghost" after about a 2 or 3 year run. It was that good and that accurate. My wife is an RN with 30 + years experience. We compared the LAZLE with her very expensive upper arm monitor and using her equally expensive stethoscope. The LAZLE monitor is also within 2-3 points of my wife's readings. For some unknown reason, the ParaMed Wrist monitor I received when reordering is less accurate than the one I returned. Strange that the previous customer who ordered the unit I returned would return it, unless maybe they were conducting some sort of comparison. I'm satisfied with the ParaMed Wrist monitor. I purchased the unit to use when traveling, which is quite suitable. After using it more, as blood pressure readings go, the Systolic Readings may become more accurate in comparisons; if not, I can always adjust accordingly. Hope this helps...

Great results, compared to my doctors office testing.
Hi I would like to share my review of the Paramed wrist blood pressure monitor. I have had high blood pressure for a long time. I use to travel a lot and take my large arm pressure unit with me. I’m on high blood pressure medication. So I need to take my blood pressure periodically. The Paramed is the 3rd unit I tested for my use. The first two did not work according to the product statements. This one is easy to use, very readable display and easy to set up. It is not Bluetooth or cannot be linked to your phone. It is inexpensive and the cuff fits perfectly on your wrist. Reading are in 30 seconds. I highly recommend you give it a try for yourself

A reliable monitor.
Gives accurate readings and very easy to use. The hard case is a good addition. Various medical professionals I know have poo-pooed wrist monitors, however I have an arm-monitor and a wrist monitor and I compare the readings. Having owned this for some time now I have found the readings on both monitors are always pretty much the same. If you don't like that tight feeling when the arm band inflates - which I totally understand - then I'd say this wrist monitor is absolutely a tenable alternative. Pleased. Recommended.
