Mochila perfecta para viajes cortos y uso diario
Compré la Peak Design Travel Backpack de 30L en color negro y ha superado totalmente mis expectativas. La calidad de construcción se nota desde el primer momento: el material exterior es resistente, con acabado tipo lona de nailon 400D reciclado y base más gruesa de 900D, lo que da mucha confianza para viajes frecuentes y uso intensivo. Lo que más me ha gustado es el diseño para organizar todo. El acceso principal por la parte trasera abre casi como una maleta y facilita muchísimo empacar y desempacar. Además, tiene varios bolsillos internos, incluyendo fundas acolchadas para laptop y tablet, y bolsillos elásticos y con cierre para llevar llaves, lentes, pasaporte y cables sin que todo quede suelto. Por fuera, los bolsillos laterales son enormes y aguantan sin problema botellas grandes o incluso un trípode de viaje, algo ideal si viajas con equipo de foto o vídeo. También trae correas externas bien escondidas bajo una solapa magnética para sujetar más cosas (chaqueta, trípode, etc.) sin que la mochila se vea desordenada. En comodidad también cumple: las asas y el respaldo vienen bien acolchados y las correas se pueden guardar para facturar la mochila sin riesgo de que se enganchen. Incluye correa de pecho y opción de cinturón lumbar (se compra aparte), así que se puede llevar cargada todo el día sin que resulte incómoda. Otro punto fuerte es su versatilidad. Fantastic travel backpack
I bought this backpack for a trip to Europe recently. I have a more "tactical" style Eberlestock pack that I use for hiking as well as travel and road trips, but I decided I needed something a bit better-suited to the confines of airports, planes, trains, and smaller vehicles. Since I knew I would be spending my time in cities and similar areas, I wanted to blend in a bit more. I've been a fan of Peak Design equipment like their travel tripod and camera clip. I wasn't disappointed here, either. The fit and finish of Peak Design gear is very high. The stitching is precise and each piece is nicely finished. The layout is similarly well-thought out. The main zipper is well-concealed against the user's body, which is nice for theft protection. The straps are comfortable and tuck away easily, which is great for stowing under an airplane seat. The fabric and zippers appear to resist rain well. I didn't have a chance to stand out in the rain long enough for it to become truly soaked. The interior pockets are extensive and well-designed. I know it is rather at odds with the design philosophy, but a hip belt that stows similarly to the straps would be fantastic if you're carrying a decent amount of weight for an extended period. That's a reasonable compromise here because the pack is sleek and unadorned with MOLLE webbing and other features you would find on a more "tactical" backpack. That plain design makes it very well-suited to urban environments where it will be less likely to draw attention. I have one of the tech pouches which fits well with it. Overall, the pack is spacious without being bulky and comfortable for typical travel. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I love the sage color, too. It's a bit unique, but fits my love of nature, too. Peak Design puts a lot of R&D into their products and it pays off. This backpack is no exception.

The price was worth it!
Honestly, I cringed pretty hard at the price of this backpack. $300 is a LOT for me to spend on a backpack when there are so many other options at a much lower price point. But, I decided that I would end up using this backpack a lot and it would be worth it in the end. I ended up biting the bullet and buying it, and I'm so glad I did! It really did work great for what I used it for! It took a little time for me to get used to HOW to use it; I tend to think of the part of the backpack with the arm straps as the "back" of the pack and I would tend to want to open the "front" of the pack when looking for things, but this pack is opened from the "back" and it makes perfect sense once I got used to that idea! The only small quibble I might have is that it does not have a leak proof pouch for liquids built into it. Not a deal breaker as a zip-lock baggie works just fine for this purpose! I really liked the ability to stow the backpack straps. It made carrying a full backpack on and off a place much easier without straps hanging out all over the place to get snagged on an armrest as you pass by or a strap to get caught in the overhead door when it is closed. I also liked that it has a place to store everything and I always knew where what I was looking for was located...and it was very easy to access! It appears to be very durable as all of the zippers are still working without any issues despite being packed very tightly and my living out of it for about a month.

Watched countless YouTube videos in regards to the ultimate tech / travel bag. I had been carrying a North Face Router for the past four years. Kept getting annoyed with the shoulder / hip straps always in the way. This Peak Design has a very clever system for storing all of those straps. Multiple pockets and zippered areas. I carry a 15" Dell XPS and no issues with the sleeve. Just a bombproof piece all the way around. Also ordered and considered the WANDRD Transit travel 35L. To me, no comparison as the Peak Design is just way more thought out. The X-Pac fabric seems / appears to be very durable. Time will tell.
