Beautiful & sturdy design 🌿
A local hummingbird that returns each year showed up a couple days ago where my old feeder usually is. It broke & I couldn’t let the hummus down so ordered this as a replacement to the cheap plastic I used before. Beautiful & sturdy. Feels solid & not cheap or flimsy at all. The metal is attached securely & the plastic feels thick & solid like it won’t fall apart easily. Hopefully it will last awhile. I plan on repurposing the glass if & when it ever becomes unusable because of the plastic part. Speaking of that part, at first glance and even staring at it knowing it’s plastic it gives off a metallic look on the top part where there birds feed through the faux flowers. Not sure how well that finish will do through the elements but it’s beautiful right now. May update later if I notice wear. The glass part is my favorite. Just really beautiful. A vintage look which is really appealing to me. The price seems fair to me. I paid $15ish & I think it will outlast the flimsy cheaper feeders I’ve used in the past & it’s nicer to look at. Could reuse for flowers down the road. I plan on buying a moat to prevent ants & attaching it to a shepards hook so I can place it wherever I want. Good product with small possible improvements
I thought this might be a problem because of the clear glass but with red feeding liquid it looked great. Birds found it. I would have like a hook that was somewhat easier to mount. This is quite small and it depends on the nature of the hook you want to attach it to.
