Small birds love this feeder
We were worried that the birds wouldn't adapt to a new feeder. But we were wrong. They soon found it and we have watched up to eight birds at one time land on and use this feeder - sparrows, goldfinches, finches, grosbeaks and even a downy woodpecker. It's easy to fill and the small openings discourage large birds like pigeons and grackles from being visitors. It's made out of metal and is very sturdy - we have had it blown off its branch without any damage. It does hold a lot of seed but the birds have been very busy emptying it. If you're looking for a good feeder, we would definitely recommend this one.

Birds love them!
I have 5 of these now on a homemade post stand that I cemented into the ground due to high winds out in the country. The seed stays in the bird feeder much better than other bird feeders I’ve tried. I use only black seed sunflowers in them as it makes feeding simple. The birds love to have the protection in the wholes. Only negative is the bar under the top gets week and bends over time likely due to all the high winds here. I tie a string around the top to help with that. My winds are not like town people so this likely isn’t the normal. The winds have blown off my hot tub cover and bent the lid bar too!

Squirrel Haters, Look Elsewhere
Squirrels love it too...and that's a FEATURE at our house! We have bird feeders to entertain our cats (they're indoor cats; we're not using it as bait or anything sinister). 😆 It's fun to watch birds AND squirrels go through the little tunnels. I just had to order a new one because the cable broke after two years of heavy use (heavy in amount and heavy in weight with two or three squirrels at a time occasionally). If you hate squirrels, this bird feeder isn't for you. But if you are charmed and entertained by squirrels...this will bring you (and your cats) happiness!

Happy bird watching!
Well-designed, sturdy, easy to fill, good size for plenty of bird seed, and best of all the birds like it! So glad I finally got rid of our old feeder which wasn’t attracting birds so the seed would rot and I’d have to throw it out. This one is attracting many types of birds. Very fun to watch the birds hang on the sides or fly in to eat in the tunnels. Some seed falls through the holes when filling or while they eat but that works for birds who prefer to feed on the ground. Not squirrel proof but that’s okay, plenty of food to go around.
