Awesome tool
Awesome garden tool. I got this as a gift for my wife who is studying to be a “Master Gardener”. She uses it all the time and loves it. I was concerned that it might be too heavy, but it is not. The tool is super strong and sturdy with the hilt running all the way through the handle and is the full width of the handle allowing you to really apply some torque the the handle without worrying about bending it. The wooden handle is comfortable in the hand (both my hand which runs men’s Lg/XL and my wife’s which runs women’s Med/Lg). It comes with a nice carrying case which has a snap holding it in place. The snap is easy to undo and open. I like this so much I’m considering getting one for me to use too.

Fantastic specialized tool serves its purpose well
This is a fantastic specialized tool. It has sharp edges like a knife, but is heavy enough to dig. It has a full tang and solid construction. I find it particularly useful for digging narrow holes in hard soil, and for dividing dense root mats. I take it camping and leave the survival knife at home. This tool does it all and better. Its heavy, but that's a consequence of being so rugged and able to handle prying and digging in hard soil. We'll see if use dulls the edges, and if so, whether they can be resharpened. I would think so. Overall this is a high quality item that serves a specific purpose better than any other tool I've seen. For that purpose, its an A+

This has become my go to garden tool, and I now wear it on my belt when I go to the garden. We grow a lot of our own food so I'm always out tending our crops. With this one tool I can dig up weeds (even ones with long roots), plant new starts, harvest crops like cabbage, broccoli, and other thick stemmed crops, and even able to cut roots while dividing plants that spread to create new starts.
