It's just a good pen.
I love this thang. I constantly reach for it despite having an opus 88, and eyedropper pen and has more ink capacity. I bought an extra fine nib before when I was first getting into fountain pens and had bad paper (I still do) and realized I wanted something broader. Ended up getting another kakuno in light blue in the madoromi series and switched the cap and bodies with each other to create visual interest and I'm gifting the other pen to my friend. Like friendship jewelry and stuff. But make it fountain pens. I dunno I thought it was cute. Cinnamoroll themed. Anyway, this pen is smooth as butter and makes me write things unnecessarily. I feel some feedback when I write in my journal but it's not too terribly distracting in my opinion, like writing with a sharpened pencil. The ink cartridge is easy to install. Purchased a con 70 converter to use bottled ink. Pilot, make a broad nib for the kakunos and my life is yours.

Love my Kakuno
I am so surprised at how much I like this pen. Writes smoothly, easy to handle and a buy for the price. My only complaint is that black refill ink cartridges are not available at this time.

Must have!
For someone who is new to fountain pens this is a must. It has a good grip and I love how thick the pen is. It has a sleek design as well.
