I got this holiday craft activity for my 11 year old daughter and my 3 year old son to give them something creative to work on together. I will say that I decided to do more of a Christmas in July thing with this to kind of help with the off school summer doldrums. This kit gives you everything you need -- forms, dough, decoration ideas, etc. Very easy both to use and to personalize. Assembly is really easy. There are instructions on how to assemble it and make sure it has structural integrity. It works well with slightly older kids that can follow directions. The size of the completed houses is very small -- much smaller than typical gingerbread houses. It is a great kit that we'll use with more cans of playdoh to create a whole mini village of houses for all of us this holiday season! Very versatile in how you decorate them.
