The Plus-Plus building set is a great starter kit. The box itself is about the size of a metal lunchbox and feels sturdy and well made. My 11 year old son absolutely loves these. They have them at his school so he wanted some of his own. He’s able to build just about anything he wants. It comes within an instruction book full of color photo and ideas. It comes with a sturdy metal tin, just like vintage lunchboxes. One thing to note, these are not compatible with the ones that come in a tube and you might see in a dollar area of a big box store. These would make a great gift for a kid.

If you have a child who has a creative personality these are fantastic. We have multiple of these sets but my daughter wanted a set with different colors to free build what she wanted to. There were 600 pieces which for the price was awesome. She plays woth these for hours creating all different kinds of things and they are easily stored in the compact case they come in.
