50 feet through campsite trees, Bluetooth never wavers

I’m a huge camping and hiking enthusiast. I go out almost every other weekend, spring through fall, and having music at the campsite is a must for me. But I don’t like carrying my phone around everywhere ,I’d rather leave it zipped up in my tent or tucked inside my backpack where it’s safe from drops, dirt, and moisture. That means I need a speaker with serious Bluetooth range, and the X2 delivers. I tested it right away , my phone on the picnic table, me walking into the open field with the speaker. I got a solid 50 to 55 feet away before the music even hinted at skipping. With trees and tent fabric in between, it’s still perfectly clean at 35 to 40 feet. The battery is incredible too. I used it for a whole weekend camping trip ,probably 10-12 hours of playtime , and it still had juice left when I packed up to go home. For such a small speaker, it fills the campsite nicely. Not tinny at all. Enough bass to enjoy around the fire pit. I’ve taken it on four camping trips and one beach day, and the Bluetooth has never once failed me. For anyone who loves spending time outdoors and wants to leave their phone in a safe place while they move around freely, the X2’s Bluetooth is exactly what you’re looking for. Long battery and good sound are just the cherries on top.

Fell off ladders twice, still works perfectly

I work in construction , framing houses, pouring concrete, all that fun stuff. My gear gets absolutely abused. I’ve had my X2 for a little over three months now, and honestly, I’m shocked it’s still alive. It’s fallen off ladders from about six feet up , twice. It’s been knocked off the tailgate of a pickup truck onto asphalt. A coworker accidentally sat on it during lunch. It’s been out in light rain because I forgot to bring it inside. And through all of that, it still works exactly like it did on day one. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a speaker that’s been through this much , clear highs, punchy bass, no rattling or distortion even at high volume. I use it to listen to podcasts and rock music while I work, and I can hear everything perfectly over the noise of saws and hammers. The battery lasts through my entire 10-hour shift with juice left over. I don’t even bring a charger to work anymore. The rubber casing is scuffed up, but no cracks. The metal grille is still straight. For anyone who works in a tough environment , construction, landscaping, warehouse , the X2 is built to last. It doesn’t need to be babied. It sounds good, it runs all day, and it just keeps going no matter what you throw at it.

Great quality for the price!

I got this little unit to replace my other bluetooth speaker I got years ago after the battery couldn't hold a charge anymore. But the one I had didn't exist anymore. This one works decently. It's sound quality is decent. It has pretty good volume and clarity, but is a little lacking in bass in the genres I listen to. (Rock, Metal, Alternative) It's hard to describe, because the bass is still audible, but it just is as full to be perfect. But for it's small size and price, I think it's still decent. The bluetooth has worked flawlessly so far, and the LED light is cool. It has two modes where it's just on, or it tries to react and animate to music, which is cool for more rhythmic songs. Or you can just turn it off. I would have liked to have been able to just change the color to a single color, but it's forced to be rainbow. Just a small feature I would have preferred, but that doesn't affect it functionally. I mainly use this in the bathroom while I shower. And that hasn't been an issue. I haven't gotten too much water on it, but it seems fine in that area. Overall I really like this unit, and still give it five starts, even if it could have some minor improvements.

Exceptionally Good!

I bought two of these. They're easy to set up, because it's literally just a Bluetooth connection. They're also very easy to use: - Press and hold the power button to turn them on and off - Press the plus and minus buttons to raise and lower the volume - Press the play button to play and pause the content. The audio is excellent, loud, and clear. When two are connected together, the surround sound is awesome. I especially like the fact that the tether between the two can allow me to place one unit in another room so that I can move freely between the two rooms and not lose audio, especially for my audiobooks. They're not heavy either. They're waterproof and have a decent range. The tiny LED lights on the front indicate the remaining battery strength.
