This little BAMCOO humidifier does exactly what a humidifier should do. Be quiet and add humidity. I know the small size suggests it might have an aroma function, but it does not. The listing is very clear on that front and if you added aroma to the water you would clog the cotton wick that draws water up to the ultrasonic plate. The fact the ultrasonic plate is at the top means it doesn't need a fan to support and doesn't make a bubbling sound. It is about as quiet as an ultrasonic can get. I do hear it if it is sitting right next me on my desk, but it's multiple factors quieter than my laptop fan. For all intents and purposes it is silent. It does have two settings on the humidity level, but I can't really tell the difference in the resulting humidity. The colors either cycle or can be paused on a color. They can be turned off to make it completely dark. The unit has a battery operation and can still function while it's charging. The amount converts to about 2.5 cups of water. Since it's using a wick, it isn't really picky about the type of water you use. That just determines how long the wick lasts before needing replaced. There are a total of 3 wicks in the package. The wicks also look fairly reasonably priced for replacements. The battery function, silence, and flexibility on water makes this something that can add spot humidity to any area.
