Fast heating, super warm
The highest endorsement I can give is this is my second Proaller blanket. The older I get, the colder I get. I live in a cold climate. I would far rather keep the thermostat down and wear a sweater during the day. No problem. But I HATE getting into cold sheets. I have been using an electric blanket that I have been preheating for several hours before I get into bed. Even then, it was warm, not hot. Good enough to comfortably take the chill off, but I hated wasting so much electricity. I asked for a new blanket at Christmas and received this one. I like it so much I just bought another for a different bed. There are probably 4 or 5 abandoned electric blankets in my closet. I have been repeatedly let down by 'super warm' and 'heats fast' claims. This blanket amazed me that it heats so fast. I can now turn it on when getting ready for bed and it is toasty by the time I get in. It also heats high - the literature says 110f. I have not tested that, but I would describe it reaching 'too hot' temp. Actually, I would use a little extra bit of caution for a sleeper with nerve deficits in their legs as they might not realize how hot it is getting. I only wish there was a remembered setting. The default setting is 85f (lowest) for 8 hours (longest). I like to select the hottest temp, for the shortest amount of time, to pre-heat. Then I shut it off when getting into bed. Every night I have to press a button to turn it on, then + or - buttons to find preferred temp, then pause, then cycle through 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 hours for preferred time. Note: The first blanket is dark blue, it is a pretty color but my white sheets are slowly getting a blue tint to them. So there is a tiny bit of shedding. This time I ordered light gray and the fiber transfer, if any, is much less obvious. This has a single controller, make sure that works for you. I like that the blanket plug is in a corner, not the center, so it reaches my nightstand outlet more easily. Even when not on this is a super soft, heavy blanket. I do not feel the wires.

Best Heating Pad Ever!
I am back at Amazon to purchase my third of these heat pads. I have had numerous back and neck surgeries and I can't imagine life without a good heating pad. Over the years I have tried numerous brands only to have to replace them because they were unable to sustain the constant use. Then I stumbled across this brand and have not been disappointed since. There is only one thing about this pad that disappoints me and that is the color which appears to be a nice lavender. However after a time they seem to turn a grayish shade. I would prefer to have a nice deep teal or green-but hey! If it works and continues to work-greyish is OK! The nice but tricky part about this pad is a safety feature. If for some reason the cord becomes disconnected from the pad at the top it will not turn on again unless it is unplugged at the outlet, then plugged back in at the top of the pad, and then reconnected at the plug. It gets a little less confusing after time, I promise. I have a little red poodle who loves to pull the pad down over him when I move and in the process he often unplugs it at the top. So I have to play with the cord until I get the process right. Saves me a call to the manufacturer! This is a large pad, so very durable, great safety functions, more heat than one needs, a long cord, and oh so comfortable. And the price! I am sure that this will not be the last of these pads. They would make great gifts for those on your gift list! I could go on and on about how great these pads are but I am sure you get the picture; so have no doubt, you will not be disappointed with your purchase. I sincerely could not live without mine!

Im in heaven
I'm always cold at work and have tried smaller heating pads and heated blankets. The heated blankets were too big, unwieldy and kept getting stuck under my chair legs. It wasnt very practical. My smaller, older heating pad is too small, keeps twisting up, the cover keeps coming off, etc. So, in desperation and frustration, on Friday I ordered this larger heating pad in purple. It was $44 which I think is insanely expensive, but again, I was desparate. I knew I couldn't get through another day at work cold. Im 5'2" and 135 pounds just to give you an idea. While sitting in my work chair, the heating pad covers my lap and the sides and lengthwise it covers my stomach and my knees. I've tried all 3 settings: low, medium and high. I go through stages where it's not warm enough or I get too hot but all seem to work as they should. My older heating pad gets super hot and I'm not sure this gets as hot but I've been delightfully warm and cozy all morning. On the controller is a large on/off switch, as well as the 3 temperature settings. 3 of the edges don't seem to heat up as stated in other reviews but not a problem for me. The majority of it heats up. In the pictures, the dots are where the heat is distributed. It's soft and I love the purple color. The only issue is when I get up my black cotton pants have fuzzies or whatever on them from the fabric but I keep a lint roller on hand. I'll live with that issue. Now I hope it lasts a while. I'll provide an update if I experience any issues. I'm not sure how helpful my pics are but I took pics of it on my lap and the controller and cord.

Great easy to use pad!
This arrived just in time!! I have back problems when it starts to get cold and the best thing that seems to help is a hot and cold mixture. I have ice and ice packs for cold and for warm I use rice bags! Lol I have some cloth bags that have rice that I microwave and then use on my back! This is something that my wife taught me and it works, but it’s definitely a hassle! So when I saw this shoulder heating pad, I decided to give it a go. The pad is very very easy to use! It 18x25 and cover your back, shoulders, neck, legs, and waist perfectly! The pad has three large general spots of heat and they have 3 heat settings. You can cycle from low, medium, and high! The high setting is very very hot! Comfortable and bearable, but hot!! I put it on my back and after a couple minutes had to turn it down! I had it to the back of a leather couch which got extremely hot to the touch! The first couple of times I used this, it had a very funny, plastic burning smell. This seemed to be a normal habit with items that get hot quickly. After a couple of uses the smell went down. Overall this is a great pad! It has multiple uses, great coverage, and helps with relief. I bought it for myself and my wife ended up using it for comfort while she’s on her period!!
