Nice looking, functional portfolio at a budget friendly price
I was in need of a new portfolio to carry with me to appointments. When I saw this padfolio/portfolio it looked like a good option, so I was eager to give it a try. It did not disappoint! This portfolio is very attractive, made of a nice quality faux leather that in my opinion could pass as being real. It is well made and seems durable. The clip itself is sturdy, and firmly holds down the included notepad, in addition to papers and notes that I attach to it. It's easy to lift up the clip without snapping your fingers as some heavy duty clipboard clips can do. The portfolio is perfectly sized to hold standard 8.5 X 11 inch papers, and will hold quite a few at a time. In addition to the clip, it's very versatile and functional in that there's other storage space...a pocket sized to hold a standard sized resume, a smaller sized pocket, as well as a spot for business cards and space for a pen. I like that it has rounded rather than sharp corners, and that it has a smooth surface. I appreciate that there is a magnetic clip that holds the portfolio closed securely. The magnet seems pretty strong, yet won't hold well if the portfolio is stuffed really full, so that's something to be aware of. Overall, I'm really happy with this portfolio, and it exceeded my expectations. It's a professional looking version of an everyday staple, that is both nice looking and fully functional. Functional and soft and love that it has no logo!
I am very happy with this portfolio It comes with a notepad and somewhere to put your pen. It has a magnetic clasp and a pocket on the left-hand side that takes full pages, medium sized pocket in front of that, and a tiny pocket for business cards (it is tight and a little curved with the padding and so only holds about 4 business cards) plus there is a window pocket to put one your business cards. If you need to carry more business cards, you could tuck them down the medium size pocket. The large sleeve on the left-hand side holds about 20 sheets of paper. I do wish that that was slightly gusseted so that the sheets were not so tight to push in and get out. A small gusset would be great so they weren’t held loosely and fell out, but enable you to push the sheets tightly in because they do stick out close to the crease where you fold the portfolio because they can’t slide in all the way and you have to push the pages in, especially when you first start using this portfolio as it’s tight, although it does soften up a little overtime I like the faux leather feel because it’s padded and soft to the touch. I like the black it’s professional, and I really love the fact that it doesn’t have any type of logo front or back. This is great value for money. Looks really smart and is nice to touch and hold due to the padding and the soft faux leather in a matte finish. All round I’m really enjoying using it.

The cover is durable, yet is soft and pleasant to the touch, and is well padded. Inside the front cover, there are four pockets: two card holders (one of which has a window), another medium size pocket, and a larger pocket for full-size papers. All the pockets are well constructed, and hold their contents firmly in place. On the right side, there is good quality built-in clip, which firmly holds pads of 8 1/2 x 11 paper in place. A pen loop is sewn in the center that is large enough to hold even more substantial pens. The center binding is also wide enough to accommodate the portfolio when it is more full. Overall, this is a very well-made portfolio that is an amazing value for the cost. Excellent gift for a student, or to have to take notes at meetings, etc.
